Heilige Stätte der Märtyrer Saenamteo (새남터기념성당)

Die heilige Stätte der Märtyrer Saenamteo befindet sich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Yongsan und wurde im Jahre 1984 zum 200. Jubiläum der Gründung der Katholischen Kirche in Korea gebaut. Während der frühen Joseon-Zeit diente die Gegend sowohl als Ausbildungsplatz für Soldaten als auch als öffentlicher Hinrichtungsplatz. Während der Verfolgung von 1801 wurden hier Katholiken hingerichtet, darunter der erste koreanische Pfarrer Andreas Kim Taegon, der erste ausländische Pfarrer Koreas Ju Mun-mo und der erste ausländische Bischof Koreas Laurent-Joseph-Marius Imbert. Derzeit sind innerhalb der Stätte die sterblichen Überreste von 9 Heiligen aufbewahrt.
