Yeonmudae est situé à l'intérieur de la forteresse Hwaseong de Suwon, un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Ce lieu est situé sur une colline relativement élevée entre Changryongmun (la porte Est de la forteresse) et Hwahongmun (une porte écluse au Nord). Yeonmudae est un excellent poste d'observation militaire avec des vues panoramiques sur l'intérieur de la forteresse. Lorsque la construction de la forteresse fut achevée en 1796, Yeonmudae était utilisé comme un terrain d'entraînement pour les troupes pendant plus de deux siècles. Les soldats s'entraînaient au combat d’épées, de lances et au tir-à-l’arc.
Les visiteurs peuvent aujourd’hui y apprendre le tir-à-l’arc traditionnel en uniforme militaire. La forteresse offre également un large programme de spectacles pour découvrir et apprécier la culture traditionnelle coréenne.

Temple Gwanmunsa (관문사(서울))

Situé au pied du mont Umyeonsan dans l'arrondissement de Seocho-gu à Seoul, le temple Gwanmunsa a commencé à être construit en 1993 puis complété en octobre 1998.

Disposant d'une surface totale de 22,148.76 ㎡, le temple a été construit avec un mélange d'architecture moderne et bouddhiste à la fois.

Autour du temple, on compte divers sites touristiques importants comme le mont Cheonggyesan, le mont Umyeonsan ou encore la rivière Yangjaecheon.
