Insel Nodeulseom (노들섬)

Die Insel Nodeulseom wurde bis zu den 1950er Jahren Insel Jungjido genannt und war eine sandige Ebene, die für Freizeitaktivitäten genutzt wurde. Während der Weiterentwicklung der Gegenden am Fluss Hangang in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren wurde der Sand der Insel Jungjido verwendet, und so entstand eine scheinbar mitten auf dem Fluss schwebende Insel. Die Insel Nodeulseom blieb über die nächsten 50 Jahre verlassen, bis die Stadt Seoul das Grundstück im Jahre 2005 kaufte.
Im September 2019 wurde die Insel wieder für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht und ist heute ein Kulturkomplex mit verschiedenen Einrichtungen wie einer Bücherei, einer Musiklounge, einem Garten und mehr.
