Café ONE FINE DAY boasts a stunning view of Sokcho Beach, visible right before it. Both the first and second floors feature expansive window walls that offer unobstructed views of the beach, while the third floor provides a view of the Sokcho Eye. The café's signature menu includes the "Sokcho Eye corn latte," named after the Ferris wheel visible from the café, and the "Ferris wheel bread." Other popular offerings include fresh pineapple juice and the unique Cotton candy latte.

Baekchon Makguksu (백촌막국수)

Baekchon Makguksu is a one of the most well-known restaurant in Goseong for serving delicious makguksu (buckwheat noodles), a dish that defines Gangwon-do. Buckwheat noodles in Baekchon Makguksu are served with a dried pollack salad, which, for many regulars, is the thing that makes them come back for more. Baekchon Makguksu’s take on this dish combines the flavors of dongchimi (radish water kichmi) broth with Hamheung-style cold buckwheat noodles. Ingredients consist of dongchimi and buckwheat noodles, topped with dried pollack salad, sesame oil, vinegar, sugar, mustard, and seasoning to taste. The noodles themselves retain the fragrance and the texture of buckwheat quite well. Visitors who prefer their bowl to have a more subtle yet refreshing taste can control the amount of vinegar and seasoning to bring the soup’s flavors forward. Another popular dish here is suyuk (boiled pork slices). After enjoying a meal of makguksu, visitors are recommended to take a leisurely seaside stroll at the nearby Munamhaebyeon Beach.

On the Button is known for its view overlooking Munamhaebyeon Beach. The cafe’s facade features a window wall that brings the beach into view. The parking lot is located at the back of the cafe, so visitors won’t have to worry about cars blocking the view. With its chic interior and space, the cafe is also popular for photography. All beverages at On the Button are served in reusable cups. Lids are provided upon request. The second floor is a rooftop space. Children are prohibited from accessing the space due to safety reasons. The cafe serves a wide range of menu items, from Latte Verde to Summer Latte, Marron Latte, Cafe Americano, Latte, and Einspanner. Sokcho Beach (속초해수욕장)

Sokcho Beach opened in 1976 and is one of Korea's representative beaches. It is close to Sokcho's downtown, and the express bus terminal is also within walking distance, so transportation is convenient. With clear sea water, shallow depth, and a gentle slope, Sokcho Beach attracts visitors from all over the country every summer. Especially during the high season in July and August, the beach is so cluttered that there's nowhere to walk. There are many restaurants and facilities near the beach. And there is a pine forest with a small park and a trail behind the beach. The sculptures installed throughout the sandy beach are a sight to see regardless of the season, so tourists continue to visit even after the holiday season. There are sculptures including the Korean initials "ㅅㅊ" symbolizing Sokcho, a large compass showing directions to countries around the world, and a dolphin sculpture. The large picture frame with the blue sea in the background and the Stairway to Heaven are the most popular photo spots here. The beach often serves as a venue for a variety of events like performances and festivals.

Sokcho Eye (속초해수욕장 대관람차(속초아이))

Located at Sokcho Beach, Sokcho Eye is a towering Ferris wheel standing approximately 65 meters tall, offering panoramic views of the blue sea, Seoraksan Mountain, and the city of Sokcho. Constructed entirely with transparent acrylic walls, it provides an unobstructed 360-degree view, ensuring a memorable experience from every angle.

Hansongjeong Garden (한송정가든)

Hansongjeong Garden is owned by a first-rate chef who only uses carefully selected ingredients. The owner-chef won the Grand Prize in the SIFE Seoul International Culinary Competition 2007 and received a bronze medal for his work at the Gangwon Tour Service Competition. He also has a patent on Eolgari Nangmyeon (Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Eolgari Kimchi).

Cheoksan Spatel ( (주)척산온천휴양촌)

Opened in 1985, Cheoksan Spatel is a natural hot springs with strong alkaline water at 53℃, formed 4000 m below sea level. The water is said to be highly effective in the removal of impurities and treatment of skin conditions. Rooms available include both bedrooms and ondol (under-the-floor heating system) rooms. Each room has a small bath supplied with hot springs water in the bathroom. Guests are also offered a single-use ticket to the hot springs area.
There are plenty of onsite facilities as well, from the hot springs area with many different types of baths to ladies-only spa therapy at Spa Healing Center, walking paths through a pine grove, and an observation deck with a view of Seoraksan Mountain’s Ulsan Peak. Other attractions, such as Sokcho Museum, Seoraksan Botanical Garden, and Cheongchoho Recreation Area, is reachable by car in 10 min.

The Teddy Bear Farm introduces the history and origin of teddy bears and displays bear dolls with diverse themes as well as teddy bear works created by world-wide designers. The bear’s name “Teddy,” which is very popular among people of all ages, originates from the nickname of U.S. president Franklin Roosevelt. The Teddy Bear Farm introduces the birth story of teddy bear associated with President Roosevelt, and shows various styles of teddy bear dolls, in particular, miniature versions of teddy bears from the world’s fairy tales, teddy bear in hanbok (traditional Korean clothes), teddy bear at a camping site, teddy bear enjoying a Christmas party, and so on. Seoraksan Botanical Garden (설악산 자생식물원)
