Wolseonggyegok Valley is formed by the eastward flow of Wolseongcheon Stream, creating a remarkable landscape as the water winds around rocks and cliffs, earning it the nickname Geochang's Sogeumgang. Though narrow, the valley boasts a deep mountain terrain with abundant water flow. At the entrance of the valley, there are notable sites like Gangseondae Overlook, where it is said that immortals descended from heaven to enjoy the scenery, as well as the ancient Moamjeong and Deoksanjeong Pavilions.

Skylake is a 20-year-old natural herbal cosmetics manufacturer and distributor located at the foot of Deogyusan Mountain in Geochang, Gyeongsangnam-do. The company runs natural-cosmetic-making programs using natural ingredients made with their know-how. Skylake was chosen as a wellness facility by the Korea Tourism Organization. Here, you can make a toner, essence, or an all-in-one wash on your own. After finishing the experience program, you can enjoy a cup of tea at the cosmetic cafe. Chiryeongyegok Valley is situated behind Tongan Village in Anseong-myeon near Deogyusan Mountain. While not as famous as the valley in Gucheon-dong, the valley boasts a beautiful array of waterfalls, oddly shaped rocks, and ponds. The best known attraction is Chiryeonpokpo Falls, meaning “seven falls connected to pools.” There, pure water flows gently, moving from one pool to the next.

Wonhakgoga is a large and imposing hanok in the center of Hwangsan Village, Geochang, Gyeongsangnam-do - not far from the famous Suseungdae Rock - and was head house of the Geochang Shin Clan for around 500 years. Visitors can reach the summit of Hyangjeokbong Peak by taking a gondola from the nearby Muju Resort to Seolcheonbong Peak, then embarking on a roughly 20-minute hike from Seolcheonbong Peak. Even beginners can enjoy the fantastic views of Deogyusan Mountain without much difficulty, contributing to its popularity.

The Thirty Three Sights of Mujugucheondong Valley refers to thirty three scenic spots along the route from Seokmo Mountain's Rajetongmun Gateway to Baengnyeonsa Temple on Deogyusan Mountain. It's recommended to explore from the sight 1 Rajetongmun Gateway to the sight 14 Sugyeongdae Valley as a driving route, while exploring from the sight 15 Wolhatan Valley to the sight 33 Hyangjeokbong Peak as a trekking route.

Muju Baengnyeonsa Temple (백련사(무주))

Baengnyeonsa Temple is located in the upper part of Gucheondong Valley on Deogyusan Mountain. It is said that during the Silla Kingdom, a white lotus flower bloomed here, and that's why the temple is called Baengnyeonsa (lit. White Lotus Temple). The temple is the only remaining temple out of 14 that were built in the Gucheon-dong area of Muju. After walking over Baengnyeongyo Bridge at the entrance of the temple, you will come to a stone stairway. At the top is the main sanctuary. The majesty and beauty of the main sanctuary is well complemented by the mountains. The Mokjosamjonbul Stone Buddha within the main building is presumed to have been built in the latter half of the Joseon dynasty. Past Myeongbujeon is Baengnyeonsa’s Sajeokbi tombstone, and the workmanship of the carved calligraphy is very highly regarded.
