Baegunbong (alt. 940m) is a sharp pointed peak that sits on the border between Yangpyeong-eup and Okcheon-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province. It is the highest of the peaks along the southern ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain (alt. 1,157m). The two most popular hiking trails along Baegunbong start at Yeonsu-ri in Yongmun-myeon and offer a relatively short hike to the summit.

Petite France is a French cultural village set in the Korean countryside. Designed with the theme concept, "flowers, stars, and the Little Prince," the village offers experience programs, training facilities, and accommodations. Additional attractions within the village include a memorial hall dedicated to Saint-Exupery, the author of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince (1943); Orgel House where a 200-year-old music box plays a sweet melody; a French housing exhibition; a gallery displaying sculptures and paintings of le coq gaulois (the Gallic rooster), the national symbol of France; and many other galleries and shops to experience French culture. The training facility can accommodate up to 200 visitors in rooms that hold four to ten people each.

Sanasagyegok Valley, located in Yongmunsan Mountain, is characterized by its ample x_width, crystal-clear water, and abundant water volume. The thick forests and slopes of Yongmunsan Mountain offer stunning views, attracting many visitors during the summer vacation period. Approximately 100m up from the valley's entrance is Hamwanghyeol Cave, associated with the legend of Hamwang, a fierce warlord from the Goryeo dynasty. Further up, the Buddhist Sanasa Temple can be found.

Situated only 40 minute's drive from Seoul, the Jungmisan Observatory is nestled within Jungmisan Recreational Forest 437 kilometers above sea level. In addition to the beautiful natural scenery, the main draw of this particular location is that there is no other place near Seoul as this forest where one can get an excellent view of the night sky. From Seoul, one might expect to see about three stars on a good day, while at the Jungmisan Observatory one can typically observe over 3,000 stars.

Jungmisan Observatory provides an experiential learning center that offers astronomy programs for children, including preschoolers. There are two markets in the Yongmun area: the permanent Yongmun Millennium Market and the Yongmun Traditional Market, the latter of which opens on dates ending in 5 and 10. Boasting around 200 stalls, this 5-Day market is conveniently situated right in front of Yongmun Station on the Gyeonguijungang Line. It offers a variety of items including handmade products, clothes, and snacks like twisted donuts and fried whole chicken, as well as vegetables and fruits. The market is bustling with food, sights to see, and entertainment. Visitors are invited to come and experience the vibes of a traditional Korean market.

Yongmunsan Recreational Forest (용문산자연휴양림)

Yongmunsan Recreational Forest offers log cabins, camping sites, a multipurpose playground, walking paths, and hiking trails. The forest offers a great view of downtown Yangpyeong and blends well with the surrounding landscape. The hiking trail leading to Baegunbong Peak (940 meters) is recognized as one of the best trails in the area.

There are several hiking trails, all of which are relatively easy to walk on, and continuous work is underway to improve the trails. The forest is a popular destination in Yangpyeong and a treasure house of nature's beauty where visitors can observe diverse plants all year round.

Jungmisan Recreational Forest unfolds at the end of a lovely drive along the famous Nongdachigogae Road, the highest ridge road in the vicinity of Seoul. Rising 834 meters above sea level, Jungmisan Mountain is a popular sunrise destination frequented by throngs of hikers every year. Thick forests of pine trees create a rooftop of branches from spring to fall. Being surrounded by the tall mountains of Baegunsan, Yumyeongsan, and Yongmunsan, Jungmisan Mountain feels like it is in the inner mountainous region of Gangwon-do, although it is close to Seoul.

The forest has log cabins that can accommodate groups of 4 to 10 people as well as campsites that complement the surrounding natural environment. Visitors can enjoy a comfortable walk through the trees on a trail that winds through the heart of the forest.
