Gwangchigi Beach (광치기해변)

Located on the way from Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone to Seopjikoji, Gwangchigi Beach marks the end point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 1 and the starting point of Route 2. It is known for its unique geological formation, where hot lava cools down immediately upon meeting the sea. During low tides, visitors can see hidden scenic spots. The frozen lava covered with green moss, creates a spectacular view. In particular, the stunning sunrise view with Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone in the backdrop attracts a lot of visitors. Goseong Fifth-day Market is located in Goseong-ri near Seongsanilchulbong Peak. The market started in its current location in 1984, serving residents in the local areas, creating a small rustic vibe unlike what is found at larger urban markets. Markets are held on the 4th and 9th of every month, and there is everything from fish caught in Seongsan to meat, vegetables, clothing, and miscellaneous goods.

Jeju Railbike (제주레일바이크)

Jeju Railbike opened in 2013 and is the only raikbike facility on Jeju Island. While pedaling along, riders can enjoy the views of cows and horses out to pasture in the fields. The full course is 4 kilometers long, and the bikes are all equipped with motors, making it easy for anyone and everyone to complete the full course without breaking a sweat. Jeju Railbike stands out from other railbikes in the use of many up and down sections, as the rails are not previous railroad tracks, but newly created to match the natural terrain of the ranch. After finishing the ride, visitors can enjoy feeding small animals like sheep, goats, and rabbits.

Dotoreum Parasitic Cone (돛오름(돝오름))

This oreum, or parasitic cone, is located southwest of Bijarim Forest. Its name “Dot” comes from the Jeju dialect for pig, as the shape of the peak is said to resemble a pig. Dotoreum Parasitic Cone is home to a wide variety of trees and plants, but among them, it is most well-known for its bija trees. However, paths in this parasitic cone tend to be rather narrow and rugged, so one must prepare accordingly in order to climb the hill without much trouble. Visitors are advised to prepare comfortable shoes and water at the very least.

Jeju Horse Park (조랑말체험공원)

Jeju Horse Park offers a venue to promote Jeju’s horse culture in an easy and fun way. The park has kept intact the 600-year history of nomadic culture at the site of Gasi-ri Village which used to house Gammajang, the place for raising the best horses during the Joseon dynasty. The park includes the Jeju Horse Museum, Ttarabi horseback riding track, Maeum Cafe, Mongol Yurt Guesthouse, camping site, Art Shop, and an experience place to focus on the Project for a New Cultural Space Creation through the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The Jeju Horse Museum was the first national museum created by a village and its main theme covers the history and culture of the village. It is also regarded as a new form of community business model.

Visitors can taste sea cucumbers, sea pineapples, and conch at the Haenyeo's House restaurant run by the haenyeo. The schedule changes depending on the season and weather conditions.

Secret Forest, located in Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, is a natural forest path that became famous as a must-visit selfie spot on social media. It shows its own unique appeal different from that of other well-known forests on Jeju Island such as Bijarim Forest and Saryeonisup Forest Trail. It consists of diverse elements from the rare cypress forest and vast grassland to stone walls and log cabins, and also features photo spots that contain sentiments and vibes unique to Jeju Island. Here, visitors can enjoy the beautiful four seasons of nature through canola blossoms and pink muhly. However, since it is a privately-owned land, it is prohibited to take pictures in the area until completely passing through the entrance, and must refer to the address shown on the website to get to the paved road.
