Das Halla-Arboretum wurde zu Studienzwecken und aus Naturschutzgründen im Dezember 1993 gegründet und beherbergt ca. 909 verschiedene Arten von Bäumen und subtropischen Pflanzen. Im Garten befinden sich 506 Baum- und 90 Pflanzenarten, und die Gewächshäuser sind in subtropische (105 Arten) und einheimische (103 Arten) Pflanzenarten unterteilt. Das Arboretum verfügt außerdem über 2.722 Exemplare bedrohter und seltener Pflanzen, wie Michelia Compressa, Euchresta Japonica und Chloranthus Glaber.
