et bouddhiste se tient pour fêter la venue de Bouddha. Citoyen de Busan ou non,
tout le monde est invité à y participer ce qui permettra à chacun de découvrir
ou redécouvrir les pratiques traditionnelles ou bouddhiques comme l’allumage des
lanternes qui est le geste symbolique fêtant la venue de Bouddha. L’association
bouddhique de Busan organise un mois avant, un comité d’organisation de ce
festival pour favoriser la communion de tous les temples et moines participant à
cet événement. Deux semaines avant le festival, la place de la gare de Busan
est décorée de lanternes de cinq couleurs et l’illumination des lanternes
signalent le début du festival. Les 1700 temples, organisations et autres entités
bouddhiques de Busan et ses environs se mettent alors à la construction de lanternes,
distribution de thé, et autres activités.
Le clou de ce
spectacle est la célébration de la venue de Bouddha par la grande cérémonie
bouddhique et le défilé des lanternes. Ce dernier commence apres la cérémonie.
De la gare de Busan jusqu’a Gwangbok-dong en passant par le stade Gudeok
defileront multiples lanternes geantes en forme de dragon, elephant, fleurs de
lotus et autres rendant le spectacle magnifique.
