Située au pied du mont Hambaeksan, Samtan Art Mine est un lieu rénové en complexe culturel à partir d'une mine abandonnée. Le nom de ‘Samtan’ renvoie à 'Samcheok Tanjwa', l'une des mines les plus connues en Corée, and ‘Art Min’. On trouve bien entendu de nombreux lieux de culture à travers le pays, mais Samtan Art Mine se distingue pour son environnement unique, une ancienne mine fermée en octobre 2001 après son ouverture en 1964.

Colline de Manhangjae (만항재)

Si vous empruntez la route locale 414 à partir de Gohan-eup, vous passerez par la colline de Manhangjae et le temple de Jeongam-sa. Il est assez difficile de conduire sur cette route sinueuse et montante sur la colline.
En revanche, le paysage qui entoure cette colline est magnifique et vous pourrez aller jusqu'au sommet en voiture.

Memilchon Makguksu gained public attention for its delicious gondeure bap (thistle rice) and makguksu (buckwheat noodles) after appearing in the television show "Wednesday Food Talk." The restaurant has even earned patents for their original recipes of certain dishes. The most popular menu item is Gondeure Set Menu, which includes a thistle hot pot rice served along with a variety of side dishes. The buckwheat noodles served at this restaurant offers a refreshing taste that can only be encountered in Gangwon. The restaurant may run out of ingredients and close early during vacation season, so visitors are advised to call and check for availability in advance. Drivers can use the public parking lot across from the restaurant.

Signifiant premier et principal, High1 est une station touristique de loisirs multi-canal qui est composé du High1 Resort, l’hôtel Gangwon Land Convention, le casino Gangwon Land, l’hôtel Gangwon Land, le High1 Ski, le High1 C.C, l’hôtel High1, la résidence de la vallée et la résidence de la montagne. La station offre une pente de 4,2km de long pour les débutants, qui commence au sommet du mont Jijangsan (1,345 mètres) jusqu’au bas du mont Baegunsan, 18 pentes, 3 télécabines et 7 remontées mécaniques qui connectent la station de ski comme une toile d’araignée.

Les deux hôtels et les trois résidences offrent un total de 1 577 chambres. Le terrain de golf à 18 trous ainsi que le restaurant traditionnel coréen Unamjeong, sont particulièrement bien reçus à la fois des touristes coréens et internationaux. Située à Taebaek dans la province de Gangwon-do, Chujeon est la gare ferroviaire la plus haute en altitude de la Corée (855m). Les visiteurs doivent passer par Jeongamgul, le deuxième plus long tunnel ferroviaire de Corée pour arriver jusqu’à la gare Chujeon.Cette station calme et isolée a beaucoup attiré la curiosité des visiteurs depuis qu'elle a commencé à être exploitée dans les circuits touristiques ferroviaires Snow Flower Fantastic en décembre 1998.
On peut profiter de merveilleux paysages romantique, surtout pendant l’hiver. Les voyageurs peuvent également faire du traîneau dans la neige pendant une heure.

High1 Haneulgil Trekking désigne des chemins de promenade autour du mont Baegunsan. Le trekking propose différents parcours dont la route Mureungdowongil, Untangodogil, et Gowonsupgil.
