Nogwon Galbi is a restaurant specializing in galbi (grilled pork ribs). The restaurant serves only the freshest pork ribs, coming in regular and marinated in a special seasoning made in-house. Ce parc est devenu célèbre pour ses vues imprenables du lever du soleil sur la Mer de l’Est. Le parc Seorak du Lever du Soleil s’étend sur plus 20952 m² et pemet de profiter de sublimes panoramas côtiers. Les vues du soleil se levant entre les pins sont particulièrement renommées.

Le parc a longtemps été appelé « Naemulchi », dénomination datant de la Période Joseon (1392-1910). Le lettré Song Si-Yeol s’y arrêta alors qu’il était en route pour l’île Geojedo pour s’y exiler et appela ainsi l’endroit, comme si un village croulait sous l’eau après une forte pluie.

A l’intérieur du parc vous trouverez la Tour Mémoriale Jamboree, un théâtre à ciel ouvert, un centre d’informations touristiques, et de nombreux endroits pour se promener sur le bord de mer.

La rivière Namdaecheon se situe à environ 2 km de l’estuaire de la mer de l’Est. Large de 50 m, elle est traversée par de nombreuses routes. On y trouve un filet installé par le bureau de recherche des rivières de Yeongdong, appartenant à la zone de développement marine nationale, où viennent se prendre les saumons qui remontent le cours de la rivière chaque année en automne pour la ponte. La meilleure période pour observer les saumons à Namdaecheon débute à la mi-octobre et dure jusqu’à fin novembre. Le festival du saumon a également lieu tous les ans au mois d’octobre.
