Ce sont les anciennes ruines d’un château autrefois appelé Seoraksanseong, aussi connu sous le nom de Onggeumsanseong, ou encore Totoseong. La forteresse est située sur la montagne Dolsan à proximité du Mt. Seoraksan Sogongwon. On pense que la forteresse fut construite par Gojong (règne 1213~1259), le 23ème Roi de la Dynastie Goryeo (918~1392). On l’appelle aussi le château Gwonkim(geum)seong, après la légende racontant que deux généraux nommés Gwon et Kim construisèrent le château.
Sur le côté gauche de Sogongwon, après avoir passé le Pont Biryonggyo et le ravin, il y a un petit sentier qui conduit au château Gwongeumseong, il est toutefois possible de prendre un téléphérique car le sentier de 2.5km est plutôt difficile car raide et rocheux. Le téléphérique fut installé par le Dr. Lee Gi-Seop en 1971 et est encore très utilisé. Il fonctionne de 7h à 18h ou 18h30 avec un départ toutes les 7 minutes et on peut acheter des billets aller-retour valable la journée au guichet. Au plateau du château Gwongeumseong, vous pourrez admirer la Mer de l’Est et la ville de Sokcho. A l'ouest se trouve toutes sortes de rochers fantastiques, véritable manteau de pierres recouvrant les montagnes Seoraksan.

Ce café était autrefois un chantier naval situé près du parc du lac Cheongcho-ho. Il a été utilisé comme chantier naval de 1952 à 2017, puis transformé en café en 2018.
L'espace est composé de quatre zones : salon, musée, Playscape et Open Factory. Sur place, vous pouvez déguster des cafés torréfiés sur place, du chocolat chaud, des glaces et des boissons fraîches dans l'espace salon. La terrasse en plein air du café est reliée au lac Cheongcho-ho, un endroit apprécié par les familles.
