Cheoksan Spatel / (주)척산온천휴양촌

Opened in 1985, Cheoksan Spatel is a natural hot springs with strong alkaline water at 53℃, formed 4000 m below sea level. The water is said to be highly effective in the removal of impurities and treatment of skin conditions. Rooms available include both bedrooms and ondol (under-the-floor heating system) rooms. Each room has a small bath supplied with hot springs water in the bathroom. Guests are also offered a single-use ticket to the hot springs area.
There are plenty of onsite facilities as well, from the hot springs area with many different types of baths to ladies-only spa therapy at Spa Healing Center, walking paths through a pine grove, and an observation deck with a view of Seoraksan Mountain’s Ulsan Peak. Other attractions, such as Sokcho Museum, Seoraksan Botanical Garden, and Cheongchoho Recreation Area, is reachable by car in 10 min.
Parc national du Mt. Seoraksan (OeSeorak) (설악산국립공원 - 외설악)

Egalement appelée mont Seolsan ou encore mont Seolbongsan, la montagne Seoraksan doit son nom à la neige qui persistait très longtemps sur les pics du massif. En novembre 1965, le district du mont Seoraksan fut désigné comme 'Région pour la Sauvegarde des Monuments Naturels'. En août 1982, il fut nommé en tant que 'Zone de Préservation de la Biosphère' par l’UNESCO.
Le parc s’étend au travers de 4 villes, à Sokcho, Inje, Goseong et Yangyang. La partie Est du massif s'appelle OeSeorak alors que Daecheongbong est son pic le plus élevé. Le côté Ouest quant à lui est dénommé NaeSeorak, et est partagé entre NaeSeorak au Nord et NaeSeorak au Sud.
Le NaeSeorak du Nord se compose de la rivière Bukcheon, qui s’écoule vers la rivière Ingecheon et la rivière Baekdamcheon. Il y a de nombreuses vallées à NaeSeorak. Si vous suivez la vallée Baekdamcheon où toutes les rivières se rencontrent, vous allez arriver au temple Baekdamsa, connu pour ses superbe vues. Si vous continuez en amont, vous trouverez la vallée Gayadong et la vallée Suryeomdong, plus loin se trouve la crête Madeungnyeong (1.327m) qui conduit au département de Seorakdong. Si vous suivez la vallée Suryeomdong, vous arriverez aux chutes d’eau Waryong et Ssangpok. Si vous montez encore un peu en haut de la montagne, vous arriverez à Bongjeongam (1.224m au dessus du niveau de la mer). Après avoir grimpé le pic Daecheong, vous pourrez observer les pics du massif et le coucher du soleil.
Le NaeSeorak du Sud se trouve dans la vallée de la région de Ongnyeotang. La chute d’eau Daeseung au nord de Jangsudae est l’endroit le plus beau de NaeSeorak. Dans la vallée sud de Yongdaeri se trouve la 'source d'eau thermale des douze fées', la chute d’eau Oktang ainsi que la chute d’eau Yongtang.
Téléphérique de Seorak Sogongwon (설악 케이블카)

La meilleure façon de voir Mt. Seoraksan si vous avez un temps limité, est de prendre le téléphérique Seorak Sogongwon. Toutefois, il est si populaire qu'il faut parfois faire la queue pendant environ 2 à 3 heures pendant la haute saison (vacances d'été et les saisons feuillage d'automne) et pendant le week-end, mais en dehors des saisons, la voiture de câble peuvent être montés à bord sans avoir à attendre en ligne. Monter et à descendre de la télécabine, les visiteurs peuvent voir les formations rocheuses de la région fascinante Gwongeumseong ainsi que la zone Sogongwon, Jeohangnyeong et Ulsanbawi Rock au nord. Au nord-est, centre-ville de Sokcho et la mer de l'Est est en vue.
Après la descente du téléphérique, les visiteurs peuvent prendre une promenade de 20 à 30 minutes à Gwongeumseong pour obtenir un oiseau-oeil-vue d'OE-Serok. Le téléphérique monte à une vitesse relativement élevée avec une certaine excitation. La sécurité est assurée et le paysage peut être apprécié avec la visite guidée de la télécabine.
Le téléphérique se déroule du 8 am to 6 Pm. Il fonctionne même quand il pleut ou qu'il neige, mais le fonctionnement peut être suspendu dans des conditions venteuses.

Hansongjeong Garden (한송정가든)

Hansongjeong Garden is owned by a first-rate chef who only uses carefully selected ingredients. The owner-chef won the Grand Prize in the SIFE Seoul International Culinary Competition 2007 and received a bronze medal for his work at the Gangwon Tour Service Competition. He also has a patent on Eolgari Nangmyeon (Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Eolgari Kimchi).
Le Lac Yeongnangho (영랑호)

Le lac Yeongnangho est une lagune naturelle avec une circonférence de 7,8 kilomètres. Le nom « Yeongnangho» est à l’origine de la période Shilla (de –57 à 935 JC). A proximité du lac Yeongnangho se trouvent des sentiers pédestres, un terrain de golf et il est aussi possible de louer des canots. Lors de votre visite au lac, ne manquez pas de vous arrêter au rocher Beombawi. Ce dernier prend la forme d’un tigre, c’est pourquoi il contient le mot «Beom» (tigre en coréen). Si vous escaladez ce rocher, vous pourrez admirer une belle vue sur les environs.
