The Palmido Cruise is a sightseeing cruise that departs from Yeonan Pier in Jemulpo-gu, Incheon. The route to Palmido Island, located approximately 16 km west of Yeonan Pier, offers views of the Incheondaegyo Bridge and the islands of the West Sea. Palmido Island is home to Korea’s first modern lighthouse, which was lit in 1903. The old lighthouse has been designated as a National Historic Site, and the new lighthouse, built in 2003, stands side by side with it. Palmido Island was long restricted as a military protection zone but was opened to the public in 2009. Visitors can explore the lighthouse, the Lighthouse History Museum, Sopalmido Beach, and the Dulle Trail.
