Located on the coast of the East Sea, Yeongdeok Crab Village is famous for its classical scholars, and its wonderful scenery, where the mountains meet the sea. The traditional fishing village is the home of Yeongdeok snow crab that was well-known from Goryeo dynasty (King Taejo) and also has a huge street for snow crabs, packed with around 100 shops selling crabs along the Gangguan Port. When the season for snow crabs arrives in November, lasting through May, the village is crowded with visitors from all over the world eager to try Yeongdeok snow crabs.

In addition, the location of the village gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful sea roads in Korea. In the area are also a sea fishing site, beaches, and water resort venues that are suitable for both recreation and relaxation.

Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival is an annual event that celebrates local snow crabs, which were once served to kings. Among festival highlights, the Snow Crab Public Auction as well as the snow crab market are the most popular. In addition, visitors can ride a snow crab fishing boat, enjoy busking performances, and sample various snow crab dishes.

Gangguhang Port is a large harbor in Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangnam-do. Gangguhang Port is the main marketplace for Yeongdeok snowcrabs and since there are so many places selling crabs near the port, the area is called "Snowcrab Street." Rows of crab fishing boats can be seen along the port during the crab fishing season from November to April and May.

Gabaewon is a café located in Deokdong Village, renowned for its exceptional omija cha (omija tea). This tea is crafted from handmade omija preserves, aged for five years, resulting in a rich and deep flavor. Jusanji Pond is a small reservoir located in Juwangsan National Park. It is a man-made pond that was dug out in August, 1720 and completed in October the year after. The pond has been used as a source of water for agricultural use as well as for drinking water. Even though it is small in size, about 200 meters long and 8 meters deep, the pond has never dried up from any drought.

150-year-old willow trees are rooted in the pond, which makes a fantastic balance with the surroundings, creating a picturesque scenery found nowhere else.

Jeolgolgyegok Valley is located along the mountain ridgeline connecting Gamebong Peak and Wanggeoam Rock in Juwangsan Mountain. It stretches for 5 kilometers from Jeolgol Valley Visitor's Center to Daemun Bridge. The valley is formed of vocanic tuffs that were welded and compacted after cooling down, which resulted in forming vertical cracks, leaving rocks to fall out and create a steep valley cliff.
