Sinse-dong Mural Village is located in Dongmun-dong, Andong. Originally an informal settlement, the introduction of the Maeulmisul Art Project in 2009 and subsequent urban renewal projects transformed the village into one of Andong’s most famous tourist sites. Today’s village is home to numerous murals and monthly flea markets like the Geurimae Market and Woryeong Market.

Held in Andong Hahoe Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Andong Maskdance Festival offers a vibrant experience of traditional culture and mask dance performances. This festival will be particularly intriguing to those who are already familiar with the Andong mask dance. The festival showcases mask dance performances, such as Hahoe Byeolsingut Tallori (Mask Dance Drama of Hahoe), which is an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea, and mask dances from around the world. The main event is the Tallori Daedongnanjang Parade, in which locals, tourists, and international troupes dance together wearing various masks. Visitors can also see situational plays and play folk games such as Chajeon Nori (Chariot Battle) and Notdari Bapgi (Walking over a Human Bridge).

The Hahoe Mask is a wooden mask traditionally used for Hahoe Byeolsingut Tallori in Hahoe Village. As the oldest mask in Korea, it is designated as a national treasure.

Heotjesabap Kkachi Gumeongjip is a popular restaurant located in Andong, serving yangbansang (yangban table set) fit for the aristocracy. The restaurant interior design features a traditional hanok floor, bringing the aristocratic feeling to life. One of the most popular dishes is hoetjesabap (Andong-style bibimbap). Heotjesabap coloring is not vibrant, but the dish is flavorful, with vegetables and jeon (savory pancakes) piled atop rice. The restaurant, with traditional tiles and designs, producing a feel of gentle harmony and overall traditional beauty coupled with a modern feel.

Andong Dam is a multipurpose dam on the Nakdonggang River. The dam was constructed to prevent flood damage to the downstream region and to procure water for agricultural, industrial, and residential purposes. Construction of the dam completed in 1976 with a length of 612 meters. x_height of 83 meters and holds 1.2 billion tons of water. Andongho Lake formed by the dam is a popular fishing location.

Grasswon Park is located on the banks of the Nakdonggang River as it cuts through downtown Andong. The park, north of Yeonggadaegyo Bridge, features walking trails thorugh a variety of flowers and grasses. The park is attractive all year round, but is especially popular in fall when the muhly grass turns the whole field into a lovely shade of pink. The walking and bicycle paths also connect with Baekjo Park to the south of the bridge, making this the perfect place to enjoy the pure environment of the Nakdonggang River.

Woryeonggyo Bridge was named in reference to the submerged Woryeongdae Observatory and the names of nearby areas Wolgok-myeon and Eumdamgol. The view of Woryeonggyo Bridge with the moon's reflection in the Nakdonggang River is a beautiful sight. Woryeonggyo Bridge harbors a tragic yet beautiful legend about a wife who made a pair of mituri (hemp shoes) out of her hair in heartfelt yearning and condolence for her late husband. In commemoration of her pure and noble love, the bridge was designed in the style of mituri.

This spot is where Yeong-sik and Hyeon-suk enjoyed their hanbok date. Perhaps because of the romantic lights, the two managed to confirm their feelings for each other once more. You can walk on the bridge like Yeong-sik and Hyeon-suk did or take the Moon Boat on the lake and enjoy the view of the bridge from the water.

Imcheonggak House is the largest remaining household from the Joseon dynasty, holding a history of over 500 years. The house was built for one aristocratic family’s love of the scenic beauty in the surrounding area. It was originally built with a total of 99 kan (traditional measurement of space between pillars) but only 70 remain. The most famous structure on this property is the annexed pavilion, Gunjajeong. An autograph of the famous Confucian scholar Lee Hwang can be found hanging outside the pavilion.

Head House of the Tapdong Branch of the Goseong Yi Clan, located in Andong, serves as a residential house of the Yi descendents even to this day. Constructed in 1685, this house has all of the beautiful features that represent Joseon-style architecture. After this period, additional structures were added periodically. Across from the house is the Seven-story Brick Pagoda at Beopheungsa Temple Site.

Designated National Treasure No.16, Sinsedong Chilcheung Jeontap is Korea's oldest and largest stone pagoda.
The pagoda measures 16.8 meters high with a x_width of 7.75 meters. The pagoda was originally built at Beopeungsa Temple during the eighth century of the Unified Silla Kingdom [654-935] and is the only remaining relic from the temple.
The pagoda is presently located on the estate of the head house of the Goseong Lee family. The sangryunbu, the ornamental top portion of the pagoda, has been totally lost, but the lower tiered portions are intact with beautiful carvings of Buddhist tutelary deity. Traces of tiled roof were found on each story of the tower. Historical records show that the tower was rebuilt in 1487 and that around the same period, three parts of the temple remained.
