Located 1.5 kilometers away to the east side of Irun-myeon, Geoje, Jisimdo Island is a very small island covering an area of just 0.338 ㎢ with a 3.5-kilometer long coast line. From Jangseungpohang Port, it takes approximately 15 minutes by ferry and visitors can tour the entire island within 2 hours.

The name of the island comes from its appearance resembling the Chinese character ‘sim (心).’ The island is home to abundant and old camellia trees more than any other islands in the southern sea, earning the nickname "Dongbaek (camellia) Island."

Geoje Botanical Garden (Geoje Jungle Dome) is the largest botanical garden in Korea, covering an area of 4468 square meters, a maximum x_height of 30 meters, and covered with 7472 sheets of glass. Hansando Island is located in the middle of Hallyeohaesang National Park. Despite this, it is more well-known for its historical importance in connection with Admiral Yi Sun-sin. This is where he commanded the fleets for a majority of the Imjin War (1592-1598). It was also the site of the Great Battle of Hansan.

Bijindo Island is located 13 kilometers from Tongyeonghang Port. The island's main attraction is the 550-meter-long beach. Due to the unique formation of the island, with the beach appearing to connect two separate islands, it is possible to view both the sunrise and the sunset from the beach. The western side is a sandy beach, while the eastern side is a pebble beach.

Visitors to the island can also enjoy scenic attractions of Hallyeohaesang National Park, including Haegeumgang Island and Sipjaedonggul Cave. Bijindo Island is also a great place to enjoy seafishing or simply relax in the natural beauty.
