Trouts House is a unique establishment that combines a trout hoetjib with a trout farm. Paragliding is controlled by the power of body weight. Hang gliding and paragliding are both included in manpowered gliders, which refers to gliders weighing less than 50 kilograms in dead weight. Paragliding has the shortest history among air sports, but is the most popular manpower glider.

Anyone can enjoy paragliding and after a 3 to 4-hour training course, participants can take off from a 50 meter steep hill. The total weight of the glide is just 10 kilograms, light enough to carry on one’s back, and carries very little danger if riders follow proper precautions.

Jangamsan Paragliding Field is located near Pyeongchang and the mountain is mainly comprised of stones, making it possible for people to enjoy a real thermal flight experience. The field is suitable for families who wish to enjoy camping with paragliding. The landing field is situated along the Pyeongchanggang River, which is also available for swimming after the flight. The river has a spacious pool on both upstream and downstream, making it a perfect venue for safety clinic education as well.

Sansogui Chingu, which means "a friend in the mountains," is a recognized restaurant in Yeongwol that has earned the title "Nongga Matjip," which means Delicious Farmhouse Restaurant. It has the cozy ambience of a typical countryside tile-roofed farmhouse. The restaurant makes their own soybean and red pepper paste, which are stored in the numerous crocks seen by the restaurant building. The restaurant's signature menu is Gangwon Namul Bap (wild vegetable rice set menu). The appetizing wild vegetables such as fisher’s ragwort, cow parsnip, and thistle are seasoned with housemade soy sauce, pastes, and enzymes, giving a deep and rich taste that cannot be achieved with additives or store bought seasonings. Visitors can also purchase soybean paste, soy sauce, red chili paste, and rich soybean paste made in the traditional way.

Baengnyongdonggul Cave is a 1.8㎞-long, natural limestone cave located in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. The cave entrance is located 10-15㎞ above sea level, and is surrounded by rocks. In 1976, local residents expanded a small lane in the middle of the main cave corridor to allow for easier exploration. Since then, the cave has continued to be explored and researched with great value for geologists. The cave was designated Natural Monument No. 260 in 1979.

Pyeongchang Yukbaekmajigi (평창 육백마지기)

Yukbaekmajigi refers to the peak of Cheongoksan Mountain on the southern side of Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. The large field is the size of six soccer fields and is 1,256 meters above sea level. The name comes from the saying that the field is large enough to spread 600 mal (Korean unit of measure) of rice seeds. Yukbaekmajigi is easy to reach by car and is becoming a popular eco-friendly tourist attraction. The view from the peak includes an open view of 20 large wind power generators on the vast field. There are also various photo zones for visitors.

A beautiful and mysterious valley located 12 km up the Donggang River, Eorayeon Valley is renowned for its clean waters and for the many fish that inhabit it. The valley has beautiful rock formations and a dense pine forest that were designated as the National Scenic Spot in December 2004. It is one of Korea's most popular sites for rafting, followed by Naerincheon Creek and Cheorwon's Hantangang River. The trail to Eorayeon through Jatbong Peak is also quite popular (approx. 3 hours).

Yeongwol Seopdari Village (영월섶다리마을)

Adding to its charm is the Seopdari Bridge, a unique structure crafted from wood and other plant materials, which becomes a highlight in wintertime. The bridge is installed in October when the river level decreases, and it remains in place until the onset of rainfall the following year. One of its most distinctive features is the Y-shaped pier, which, along with the bridge's unique design, creates a striking silhouette against the stunning natural backdrop of Yeongwol.
