Situated on the slopes of Sanbangsan Mountain in Geojedo Island, Sanbangsan Secret Garden offers a harmonious setting with flowing waterfalls and valleys, hosting over 1,000 species of wildflowers and rare plants. Hallyeohaesang National Marine Park was designated as the first national marine park in 1968 and covers the area between Jisimdo Island in Geoje and Odongdo Island in Yeosu with six separate districts including Geoje, Tongyeong, Sacheon, Hadong, Namhae and Odongdo Island. It spans over an area of 535.676 ㎢ and the ocean accounts for 76% of the total area. The outstanding view created by the sea and land attracts over 1 million visitors every year.
The Tongyeong district of the park encompasses Dadohae Islets, Bijindo Island and Haegeumgang Islets. The Donam Complex in Tongyeong is being developed as a world-class marine tourist attraction. On Hansando Island, there are many historical sites dedicated or related to the great Admiral Yi Sun-sin, such as battlefields where the admiral defeated Japanese naval forces. Other sites include those related to the Imjin War such as Jeseungdang, Chungnyeolsa and the turtle lighthouse. The Sanyang Road is a great driving course along where one can see the entire Mireukdo Island and appreciate the scenery. From Dara Park, visitors can enjoy the great view of Dadohae Islets. Major attractions include Hansando Island, Bijindo Island and Maemuldo Islands; the latter two are often said to be the focal point of this scenic sea park.

Geoje Recreational Forest is located on Nojasan Mountain (alt. 565 m). The mountain summit offers a panoramic view of the entire island, Hallyeohaesang National Park, and even as far as Tsushima Island in Japan on clear days. Hakdong Mongdol Beach, filled with small black pebbles, spans a distance of 1.2 kilometers and a x_width of 50 meters, covering a 30,000 ㎡ area. Walking on the pebbles stimulates acupressure points on the soles of feet, providing health benefits for visitors. Unlike other beaches on the southern part of the country, the water of Hakdong Mongdol Beach is deep with rough waves, but various water activities are available. Hakdong Auto Camping Site was established by Korea National Park Service to promote a healthy camping culture. It includes a total of 105 facilities, comprising eighty-nine auto campsites and six caravan sites. Convenient amenities such as shower rooms, dishwashing areas, electricity, and eco-friendly experiential facilities are available. Nearby attractions include Hakdongmongdolhaebyeon Pebble Beach, Oedo Island, and Windy Hill.

The Pangpang Yacht Tour offers visitors the chance to enjoy a luxury yacht ride at a great low price. Each yacht can take up to 11 passengers, and explores the calm sea around Tongyeong. Reservations are only accepted via phone call, but pets can also ride as long as they are in a carrier. The yacht club also offers private tours for special events.

Haegeumgang Islets is a tourist attraction located in front of the Windy Hill on Geojedo Island, known as a rocky island within the Hallyeohaesang National Park. While its shape resembles the spreading roots of arrowroot, hence its name "Galdo," it is widely referred to as Haegeumgang, representing the sea's Geumgangsan Mountain. Famous for its sunrise and sunset views, they are best observed from Ilwolbong Peak or Sajabawi Rock. Visitors can enjoy stunning landscapes, including the Sipja Cave, Mireukbawi Rock, Chotdaebawi Rock, and a 1,300-year-old pine tree, by taking a ferry tour.

Geoje Botanical Garden (Geoje Jungle Dome) is the largest botanical garden in Korea, covering an area of 4468 square meters, a maximum x_height of 30 meters, and covered with 7472 sheets of glass.
