Riverain is a cafe located a 10-minute walk from Chuncheon Station. The cafe offers a view of Chuncheondaegyo Bridge, Jungdo Island, and Uiamho Lake. The night view of Chuncheondaegyo Bridge is especially beautiful. The building is entirely made of windows, so one can enjoy tea while looking at the river from anywhere. There is also a large lawn out front. In addition, the 3rd and 4th floor rooftops are no-kids zones, and pets are allowed in the outdoor space. The signature drinks are Riverain Spänner and Bean-Powder Spänner, and there are a variety of desserts too.

Chuncheon Romantic Market is Chuncheon’s representative regular market that opened in 1960. It connects to Chuncheon’s high street, Myeongdong. As the arcade is installed in the market passageway, people can conveniently use the market regardless of the weather and season. Selected as a cultural tourism-style market in 2010, the market was renamed Chuncheon Romantic Market and refurbished with signboards and alleys. Visitors can discover hidden mural paintings and sculptures in various alleys. The market is packed with stores selling hanbok (traditional Korean clothes), general clothes, miscellaneous goods, and various food ingredients, as well as restaurants specializing in noodles, blood sausage soup, Vietnamese rice noodles, and others. When the U.S. army resided in Chuncheon, the Yankee Market was formed to sell American goods, but is barely surviving these days. Chuncheon Romantic Market is not large in size, but it is adjacent to other attractions such as Chuncheon Myeongdong Street, Yungnim Pass, and Myeongdong Dakgalbi Alley of Chuncheon. In addition, it was also included in the list of “16 Traditional Markets for Tourists” by Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

One of the three mime festivals in the world and one of the foremost arts festivals in Korea, this festival began in 1989 and went international in 1995 with the participation of artists from around the world. The festival sees performances held across the entire city of Chuncheon, in both indoor and outdoor spaces, focusing on the festival's annual theme based on water and fire. The program’s participatory nature means that visitors get to enjoy the festival in a more intimate manner.

Located at the Uiam lakeside, the Animation Museum, which is Korea’s only animation museum, has two floors. On the first floor there is the dimensional exhibition hall introducing the origin, birth, and development of the animation, the kinds of animation, and the Korean animation history, as well as the reproductions of a large robot Taekwon V, and the old comic store. The second floor consists of the world hall displaying the animation trend for each country, diverse animation experience activities, and a special exhibition hall. Visitors can experience making sound effects for an animated film using various tools and dubbing a famous animated film such as Run Honey, and Cloud Bread. The Toy Robot Studio, located next to the Animation Museum, provides various experience programs related to robots. Its interesting robot programs are Spider Robot, Mission Robot, Robot Avatar, Robot Dance, Drone Experience, and so on. Both the Animation Museum and the Toy Robot Studio are equipped with convenient facilities for visitors with the background of Uiamho Lake, such as a cafe and souvenir shop, which sells animation characters and toys. Gongjicheon Sculpture Park (공지천 조각공원)

Originally named Gongji Park, the park is located near Gongjicheon Stream and has been decorated with sculptures since 1997. Twenty-nine pieces are displayed and a water clock was installed in 2001. Gongjicheon Resort is located nearby the park with an outdoor stage and fountain. Water sports such as boat-riding can be enjoyed on the lake. The lake and the fountain are great locations to spend time with family and friends. Every year diverse cultural art events such as the Spring Art Performance as well as the Soyangjae Chuncheon Poetry Recital take place in the park and Gongjicheon area. A Children’s Center and War Memorial are also located nearby.
