Embracing Uiamho Lake, KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon is a cultural complex that consists of the Art Center and the Stay building. The Art Center was established by remodeling the previous Chuncheon Children’s Center, while the Stay building was built by remodeling the previous Gangwon-do Sports Center. With an open view of the lake at the front, the Art Center is known for its construction design by Korea’s master architect, late Kim Swoo-geun. When viewed from the sky, the Art Center, which was built with Kim’s unique construction technique, resembles a butterfly sitting on the lakeside. Opened as the Children’s Center in 1980, the building was abandoned for a while and then was re-born as KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon in 2014. Sangsangmadang, as part of the social contribution and restoration program of KT&G, aims to support various cultural and arts activities and offer the public an opportunity to appreciate arts and culture. While keeping its original frame of the construction in consideration of its architectural value, KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon provides diverse amenities such as a theater, gallery, cafe, art shop, and so on. It has also a charming outdoor space. It has an outdoor stage near Uiamho Lake, and the walking path and the bicycle path are available in front of the stage. In addition, the Forest Experience Center for Children behind the outdoor stage provides diverse interesting attractions.

KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Stay, near Uiam Lake in Gangwon-do, is a cultral space with "art" and "stay". It has an unusual exterior and offers tastful designed rooms - all of which are bright and comfy with AC, heating and ondol temperature control. There is a restaurant on the first floor, and in the basement guests will find a self-catering area, a music practice room, and a performance room. Cycling along Lake Uiam shore or taking a walk at Jungdo Mullegil, Gongjicheon Amusement Pakr are highly recommended.

Established in 1970, this restaurant helped build the reputation of the Chuncheon Myeongdong Dakgalbi Street. It specializes in serving seasoned dakgalbi stir-fried on a hot iron plate, with optional additions such as tteok (rice cake) or cheese. Its spicy dakgalbi, limited to 50 servings per day, is a popular choice. They also offer a variety of dakgalbi options, including soy sauce dakgalbi and natural cheese dakgalbi.

King Canoe Quay (킹카누 나루터)

King Canoe Quay is the only place in Korea to experience Canadian canoes. They also created the first 12-seater Canadian canoe. It's an eco-friendly sport that produces neither noise nor the smell of oil. Canoes on tranquil lakes provide an opportunity to see another world from the earth because one is closer to the horizon. Take a wooden canoe along the Bukhangang River with the sound of water and enjoy the charm of the lake city Chuncheon. There are four major courses provided by King Canoe Quay: Uiam Dam, Bungeoseom Island, Hajungdo Island, and Uiamho Lake. The guide will also tell riders interesting stories related to Uiamho Lake on the canoe.
