Village 736 is a self-contained private pension situated in Hongcheon, Gangwon-dong, with breathtaking views of Geumhaksan Mountain in back, Hongcheongang River in front, and the foothills of Soeppulbong Peak in the distance. Apart from the family guest building, which is a private pension on the first floor, all of the buildings have a three-story structure, with a kitchen and an outdoor deck on the first floor, a living room and a bathtub on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the center of the pension. Each guest building has its own barbecue area, and barbecue sets can be ordered. A luge is a cart ride driven downhill on a track. Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon offers Luge on its ski slopes during summer, spring, and fall. It is popular as a leisure sport to enjoy high speed even in the off-season when skiing is not possible. Guests of Vivaldi Park Resort can receive discounts, and Luge World guests may also use resort facilities. Tickets are sold based on the number of times one will ride. It is available to anyone between the ages of 3 to 64, and children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Chuncheon Makguksu Museum was built with the theme of buckwheat noodles (makguksu), Chuncheon’s local dish. The museum's unique exterior design was inspired by the image of making buckwheat noodles. This two-story building has an exhibition hall introducing buckwheat noodles (makguksu) and buckwheat (maemil) on the first floor and an experience center where visitors can make and try their own makguksu on the second floor. In particular, the first floor displays a dimensional exhibition on the origin and tradition of makguksu, and the origin and efficacy of maemil. It is recommended to visit the exhibition before the makguksu making experience activity. The makguksu making experience is available starting from groups of two people. With the help of an instructor, participants will experience the entire production process of makguksu from kneading dough to making noodles by pressing the noodle frame. After finishing making noodles, participants will mix noodles with vegetables and a spicy sauce. Soy sauce seasoning is also available.

Cheongpyeong Lake is an artificial lake that was formed with the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in the Bukhangang River. Surrounding mountains and lake landscapes blend together harmoniously creating breathtaking views and is fast becoming a choice destination in Korea.

Near Cheongpyeong Lake there is an amusement park as well as numerous summer homes. On the nearby lake, one can enjoy water skiing and a host of other recreations. Around Cheongpyeong Lake, there are a total of 30 boating areas for water skiing, motor boats, jet skis, banana boats, and various other water activities.
