The Mullegil Trail is designed to guide tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the waterway in Chuncheon, a lake city. Many companies provide diverse canoeing courses, and their common course starts from the Chuncheon Songam Sports Town, continues to canoe toward the Uiamho Lake Skywalk, and returns. Tourists can enjoy canoeing along the Chuncheon Mullegil Trail and use the King Canoe Quay, which is equipped with a facility for the vulnerable people on tourism. Located at the foot of Unaksan Mountain in Gapyeong, Premium Kids Pool Villa is a pension that offers a range of services tailored for families with children. Chuncheon Makguksu & Dakgalbi Festival celebrates dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) and makguksu (buckwheat noodles), two of the most famous specialties of the city of Chuncheon. During this festival, the area is full of booths selling buckwheat noodles and spicy stir-fried chicken. The festival offers plenty of ways to experience these two local foods.

Samaksan Mountain Lake Cable Car is the longest cable car in Korea, which connects Samcheon-dong and Samaksan Mountain across Uiamho Lake. The 20 Crystal Cabins among the 66 total cabins offer the best choice to enjoy the beautiful Uiamho Lake and Samaksan Mountain. Samaksan Lake Cable Car Building, which resembles a bow and boomerang, has a variety of amenities. Baengnyeonsa Temple is surrounded by mountains, as it is located off Yongmunsan, Myeongjisan, and Daegeumsan Mountains. On each side of the temple, one can also find Unaksan Mountain as well as Cheonmasan Mountain. In addition, just behind the temple are Chungnyeongsan Mountain and Seorisan Mountain.

This temple was built relatively recently, so the temple only has a few cultural treasures. However, as compared to the average temple in Korea, it is distinguished by its well-designed and refined architectures. The decorations in the temple are simple, with no overly vibrant colors nor complicated designs so as to help in seeking peace and inspiration.

The temple is also known for its hiking trails and beautiful scenery offered by the surrounding mountains.
