Baegunbong (alt. 940m) is a sharp pointed peak that sits on the border between Yangpyeong-eup and Okcheon-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province. It is the highest of the peaks along the southern ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain (alt. 1,157m). The two most popular hiking trails along Baegunbong start at Yeonsu-ri in Yongmun-myeon and offer a relatively short hike to the summit.

Mijin Memil Maeul is a restaurant specializing in a variety of buckwheat-based dishes, using buckwheat produced in Korea. Some of its key menu items include memil mulmakguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) and memil bibim makguksu (spicy buckwheat noodles). Patrons can also enjoy memil mandu (buckwheat mandu) or memil jeonbyeong (buckwheat crepe) as side dishes to complement the noodles.

Saneum National Recreational Forest is located in Danwol-myeon in Yangpyeong. It opened on January 1, 2000 and can accommodate up to 2,000 visitors a day. The park's name "saneum" means "mountain shade," a name given for its geographical location where it is surrounded by other mountains on all sides. The park's lush forest is home to diverse species of wildlife and the valley boasts spectacular views.

Yongmunsa Temple (용문사(용문산))

Yongmunsa Temple is located about 9 kilometers northeast from Yongmun Station on the Jungang line. It was built during the Silla Kingdom and reconstructed during the reign of King Sejong of the Joseon dynasty. It was badly damaged during the Korean War, but was restored and now consists of three buildings, the main hall, Daeungjeon Hall, and the bell tower. Its courtyard contains the largest ginkgo tree in Asia, which is 1,100 years old, measures 60 meters in x_height and 14 meters in circumference and is designated and protected as a Natural Monument. Legend says the great Buddhist Monk Uisang, who lived during the Silla Kingdom, stuck his staff in the earth, and the tree grew out of the simple staff.

Gapyeong Naengmyeon Buson is renowned for its Pyeongyang-style memil guksu (buckwheat noodles) served in a light, clear broth. Siraegi, made from dried cabbage leaves or radish leaves, are rich in vitamins. When placed on top of memil myeon (buckwheat noodles) and mixed with deulgireum (perilla oil) and soy sauce seasoning, it creates a uniquely delightful flavor. Complementing this dish are side servings of yeolmu kimchi (young summer radish kimchi) and tangy mujeorim (pickled radish). Additionally, their gamja jeon (potato pancake) is noteworthy for its savory taste and crispy texture.
