Samgaksan Mountain is a mountain situated on the northern outskirts of Seoul, resembling a folding screen. Its name, meaning triangular mountain, is derived from the presence of three high peaks: Baegundae Peak, Insubong Peak, and Mangyeongdae Overlook. The highest peak, Baegundae Peak, offers a panoramic view of Seoul from its summit, featuring a spacious rock surface where many visitors can sit. Positioned behind Gyeongbokgung Palace, the palace of the Joseon dynasty, Samgaksan Mountain is visible from the rear of the Cheong Wa Dae.

Gangnam Subway Station area is the prime district for those living south of the Hangang River. Gangnam-daero Avenue links Teheran-ro Road in the east to Jamsil and Sadang in the west. Kyobo Tower Crossroad connects Express Terminal to Noryangjin and west of Seoul. Hannam-daegyo Avenue in the north extends to the north of the Hangang River. Ttukseom Hangang Park was a famous resort site even before its rebirth as part of the greater Hangang Park. The park consists of various amenities: music fountains, a riverside square, a rose garden, playground, and a nature learning center.
