This exciting activity can be enjoyed at the 25-meter high celadon tower located in the center of Gaudo Island. Gaudo Ziptrek is approximately 1 kilometer long and boasts the longest one in Korea as a maritime experience facility. After wearing safety equipment on the tower's first floor, visitors can ride the Ziptrek at the top of the sixth floor. The ziptrek offers an exhilarating downhill slide that feels like flying in the sky with magnificent scenery that unfolds down below. The slide ends at the entrance to the suspension bridge.

Songho Beach is the most representative beach in Haenam and was named so for its dense old pine trees, fine sand, and shallow water resembling a lake. The fine sand and shallow waters make it the perfect beach for families. Hundreds of pine trees create a scenic forest reaching almost 1 kilometer along the levee which provides a suitable camping site under in the forest. The Ttangkkeut Trail that starts from Songho Beach auto-campgrond connects to Galsan Village and Ttangkkeut Tower.

The windbreak pine forest in Songho-ri, Haenam is designated as Jeollanam-do Natural Monument, consisting of at least 600 pine trees aged 200 years that play a vital role in the coastal shelterbelt.

Galdu Village, also referred to as Ttangkkeut (Land's-end) Village in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do is at the southernmost point of the Korean peninsula. The island has an observatory at Sajabong Peak, where one can get an unobstructed view of the southern archipelago, and even a glimpse of Hallsan Mountain on Jeju Island on a clear day. The name "galdu" originated from the Chinese characters for arrowroot, which was commonly found in the nearby mountains.

Wando Tower is an impressive 76 meters in x_height, and stands at the top of Dongmangsan Mountain in Wando. The area includes a plaza, walking path, resting area, and offers a fantastic view of the sunrise, sunset, and city at night.

The tower also overlooks several islands including Cheongsando Island, Bogildo Island, Nohwado Island, Sinjido Island and Gogeumdo Island. On clear days with high visibility, some islands like Jeju Island and Geomundo Island are also within sight. Located next to the tower is bongsudae (a fire signal beacon) and a walking path through Dongmangsan Mountain.

Dasan Chodang is the house where Jeong Yak-yong (pen-name Dasan, 1762-1836) lived during his exile. He was a scholar of the late Joseon dynasty and is noted for his great contributions to the development of practical learning in Korea. After he was expelled to Ganjin for writing a secret letter of appeal for religious freedom, which later was named ‘the Hwang Sa-yeong Baekseo’, he lived in the house for 18 years while studying practical learning (‘Silhak’ in Korean). Most of his famous books were written in Dasan Chodang. While walking along a road near Dasan Chodang, you can see the Cheonilgak pavilion, which offers a great view of beautiful Gangjin Bay. Not far from Dasan Chodang is the Dasan Museum, where visitors can learn about the life of Dasan.

The edge of the Haenam is referred to as ttangkkeut, which literally means at the end of the land. Located on Galdusan Mountain, the Ttangkkeut Observatory provides a panoramic view spanning from Jindo Island to Wando Island. The first floor of the observatory features a photo booth, where visitors can take pictures with Haenam’s Mascot and Ttangkkeut Village in the background. The café on the first floor provides visitors an opportunity to rest. Even though the observatory is easily accessible by walk, it is recommended to take the monorail, which offers a beautiful view of the Ttangkkeut Village.

Dahyang Sochuk, near the Dasan Chodang historic site in Gangjin, Jeollanam-do, is a traditional hanok homestay that feels like a local museum. The Skywalk was remodeled using glass material with the theme of “taking one step beyond the end of the land,” symbolizing the end the beginning of the Korean peninsula. The skywalk made with transparent glass panels, offers visitors the thrill of walking above the sea. The installed photo booth provides visitors a chance to click great pictures with the vast blue sea in the background on one side and the Ttangkkeut Tower on another. It is also renowned for stunning sunset views.

Sinji Myeongsasimni Beach is located at the center of Dadohaehaesang National Park. The beach got its name from its singing sand, and the name can be literally translated to "sound of sand that can be heard from 4 kilometers away." The beach shore has a x_width of 150 meters and a length of 4 kilometers, covered with shimmering silver sand, and forms a gradual slope into the shallow water. The beach is not only popular for water activities, but also for its fine sand massage.
