Yuldo Island is located just a 5-minute boat ride from Sinan-gun's coast. It is also known as Bipa Island due to the abundance of loquat trees. Various subtropical and tropical species grow here, and deer, goats, and rabbits roam freely. The sunsets are beautiful, and during low tide, tide flats are exposed, allowing visitors to walk to the Jido island. As it is privately owned, unauthorized entry is prohibited.

In 1929, Modo Island was spotted by Kim Hae-gim on his way to Jeju Island. He called the island Ttiseom because of the multitude of ttipul grass, a grass native to Korea, on the island. There were also many houses with thatched roofs made with dried ttipul on the island. The name Modo Island comes from the Hanja characters for "Ttiseom."

Weather Central picked this site as the best sunset observing spot in the southernmost part of the Korean peninsula. Gasado Island is a island with sixteen subsidiary islands centered around the main island. It is renowned for its beautiful sunset viewed from hanok in Dolmok Village and Dolmok Beach. It was an area where silica mines were operated in Japanese colonial period, and remnants of mines and caves can still be found across the island. As the third-largest island in Jindo, its residents are mainly engaged in brown seaweed cultivation.

The Tracksite of Dinosaurs, Pterosaurs, and Birds in Uhang-ri is where the world's most intricate fossil footprints of dinosaurs and birds were discovered. The track site was designated as a Natural Monument for its significance and serves as an educational site for studying earth science and dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period. There is a museum that has on display 447 materials related to fossils, including actual fossil pieces of an Allosaurus, along with exhibitions dedicated to giant dinosaurs, sea reptile, and birds.
