Anjwado Island is an island better known by the name Purple Island. 1004 Bridge, opened on April 4, 2019, connects Songgong-ri to Sinseok-ri in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do. It is named 1004, pronounced "cheonsa," for the 1004 islands that surrounds Sinan-gun. The bridge is the fourth longest marine bridge in Korea.

Located 54 kilometers from Mokpo Port, Bigeumdo Island is made up of 82 islands. The coastline is approximately 132 kilometers and in 1996 the Yeondogyo Bridge was constructed connecting it to Dochodo Island. Bigeumdo Island makes up 5% of the salt production in Korea.
The most beautiful beach on Bigeumdo Island is Wonpyeong Beach with its fine red sand. In particular, the view of the sunset on this beach is spectacular. It was also the filming location for TV drama "Spring Waltz."

Dochodo Island is an island located on the border of Dadohaehaesang National Park in Sinan. At the entrance of the island, there is a fantastic garden adorned with over 700 pine trees. Passing through here leads to a beautiful hydrangea park. In June, the island transforms into a colorful spectacle as around 30,000 hydrangea flowers of various species bloom. To the south of the island lies Simok Beach, which is part of Dadohaehaesang National Park.

1004 Islands Museum Park is a marine complex cultural district located on Yangsan Beach in Jaeundo Island. It comprises the World Shell Museum, 1004 Islands Stone Art Museum, Stone Garden, and Yangsan Beach. The Stone Garden features fountains, rock formations, and pine trees, while the 1004 Islands Stone Art Museum houses 1,400 donated stones. Additionally, the World Shell Museum exhibits shells and marine life collected from oceans around the world.
