Das Dongshim Hanmadang Festival wurde zum ersten Mal im Jahre 2005 vom Pumassi Movement veranstaltet, um das traditionelle koreanische Konzept des Teilens und gegenseitige Helfen wieder zu beleben. Kinder und Jugendliche können Erwachsene aus Arbeitsfeldern treffen, denen sie später beitreten wollen, und sich mit ihnen austauschen. Alle Aufführungen, Erlebnisprogramme, Paraden etc. sind kostenlos.

Heilige Märtyrerstätte Jeoldusan (절두산 순교성지)

Die heilige Märtyrerstätte Jeoldusan war der Ort, wo im Februar 1866 nach dem Eindringen französischer Kriegsschiffe über den Fluss Hangang bis Yanghwajin viele Katholiken hingerichtet wurden. Die Gegend hieß ursprünglich Jamdubong, wurden dann jedoch in Jeoldusan ("Enthauptungsberg") umbenannt. Zum 100. Jahrestag dieser sogenannten Byeongin-Verfolgung wurde im Oktober 1967 hier eine Gedenkhalle errichtet.
