L'île des camélias jouxte la plage Haeundae sur la droite. En réalité il s'agit davantage d'une presqu'île recouverte de végération et offrant de très beaux panoramas depuis les hauteurs. Son nom 'île des camélias' vient du fait que cette partie de terre était autrefois une véritable île détachée du territoire, mais le temps a finalement opéré une jointure entre les deux parties. Le nom d'île des camélias a tout de même été préservé.
