Heoyeop était le père de l’écrivain et poète Heo-gyun (1569-1618) et de la poétesse Heonan-seolheon (1563-1589). Une maison de style traditionnel coréen a été construite à l’endroit où se trouvait autrefois la maison de Heo-gyun et de Heonan-seolheon.
