Located between Gangneung’s Gyeongpo Beach and Gyeongpoho Lake, Y&G offers both business hotel and pension rooms. Its wide rooms, outdoor barbeque area, board-game room, pool table, ping-pong table, and karaoke make it an ideal vacation site for groups or families. Y&G opens a free outdoor seawater pool in the summer, which enjoys much appreciation from families with young children. Both the hotel and pension rooms offer various room types, ranging from studio-type double occupancy rooms to four-person rooms with separate living rooms. The rooms are decorated with white, minimalist decor and equipped with a TV, refrigerator, dressing table, electric kettle, toiletries, and hairdryer. Sofas and tables can be found in every room for additional comfort. Some four-person pension rooms and four-person hotel rooms boast additional features in the form of roof windows with a view of the blue sky at daytime and the stars at night. Pension rooms are also equipped with a kitchen sink, induction stove, and cooking utensils. Moreover, other on-site facilities include a self-service convenience store and a laundromat. Breakfast is served as a buffet and reserved only for guests staying for more than 7 days or groups of more than 30 people.

Résidence Seongyojang à Gangneung (강릉 선교장)

Seongyojang est une résidence ancienne ayant appartenu à la famille noble de Lee Naebeon (1703 ~ 1781) située à Gangneung-si, dans la région de Gangwon-do. Elle a été désignée comme trésor national n° 5 en 1965. "Seon", première syllabe de Seongyojang, signifie 'bateau' en caractère chinois. Le lac Gyeongpo se situe en face de Seongyojang, ce qui permet un accès au lieu par bateau. Le lac de Gyeongpo se distingue par son envergure puisqu'il dispose d'une circonférence de 12km. Sa taille a été réduite naturellement de 4 km au fil des ans alors que sa profondeur a diminué d'environ 1~2 mètres.
On affirme que 10 générations de descendants de Naebeon Lee ont continué à vivre à Seongyojang. La chaîne de télévision KBS a par ailleurs désigné cette résidence comme l'un des 10 anciens logements les mieux conservés de Corée.

Le pavillon Yeolhwadang est considéré comme la structure la plus importante de la propriété, c'était le bâtiment réservé aux hommes. Le nom de cette structure, "Yeolhwadang", contient un message de bonheur et de joie insufflé en faveur de ses habitants.

Une autre structure importante n'est autre que le pavillon Hwallaejeong et son atmosphère pittoresque. Cette structure a été construite en 1916 et se situe juste à l'intérieur de l'entrée principale. L'étang recouvert de fleurs de lotus, juste en face du bâtiment, participe à la renommée du lieu et donne l'impression de voir une peinture traditionnelle coréenne grandeur nature.

Seongyojang House in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, is a Joseon period nobleman's dwelling with more than 100 rooms. Originally built by Moogyeong Lee Naebeon, a descendant of Prince Hyoryeong - the older brother of King Sejong the Great - it has since been frequently updated. With 12 gates and many buildings, Seongyojang is one of the largest surviving traditional houses in Korea. Halraejeong Pavilion was a resting place for Joseon scholars touring the sites of Gangwon-do, it’s famous signboard left by the scholar Chusa Kim Jeonghui. For the convenience of guests, modern toilets and showers are installed in all rooms.
