Haslla Art World is a cultural park overlooking the East Sea. “Haslla” was the former name of the Gangneung area during the Goguryeo and Silla Periods. Made by the sculptor couple, Park Shinjung and Choi Okyung, the park is also home to Haslla Museum Hotel and Haslla Wedding Hall.

Full of works of art, Haslla Museum Hotel is decorated with meticulous details. In fact, the entire hotel looks like a piece of art from beautiful beds to chic restaurant. There is no mirror in the bathroom and there are no locks within rooms, aiding guests in focusing on the present. Every room overlooks the East Sea with elegant bathtubs.

Créée en 1988, l’élevage de moutons de Daegwallyeong s'étend sur 195 k㎡. On trouve plusieurs fermes à Pyeongchang mais Daegwallyeong est la seule ferme d'élevage de moutons.

On y trouve plus de 200 moutons. La période de paturage des moutons s'étend généralement de début mai à la fin octobre, période durant laquelle les moutons peuvent brouter l'herbe 24h/24. Les moutons sont tondus en avril avant que ne débute la période de paturage. Il est difficile de toucher les moutons car ils sont naturellement méfiants et ont peur du public. Si vous voulez voir les moutons de près, nous vous conseillons le programme d'activités ‘Sheep Hay Feeding Tour’ pour le prix de 2 500 wons (adultes) ou 2 000 wons (étudiants).

Vous trouverez également des chemins de promenade le long des paturages, il faut compter entre 30 min et 1h pour en faire le tour. Vous trouverez également un abris en bois qui a servi de décor pour le film ‘The Man from Mars.’, c'est à cet endroit que les deux personnages principaux sont tombés amoureux. Le pic le plus haut de la zone atteint les 950 mètres. Le vent frais, les collines vertes, le ciel bleu et les moutons broutant paisiblement forment ainsi un paysage bucolique très charmant. Le chemin descendant de la colline est bordé de chênes et de plus de 30 espèces de fleurs sauvages.

La zone d'élevage de moutons de Daegwallyeong est ouverte toute l'année et l'accès est gratuit. Le meilleur moment pour s'y rendre est de juin à août, durant la période de paturage. Il est aussi possible de passer la nuit sur les lieux, des hébergements et des lieux de restauration étant disponibles.
