La Plage Jumunjin est située au nord de la ville de Gangneung, c’est une grande place pour les vacances familiales avec son eau peu profonde. Grâce à son eau claire, on peut aussi y pêcher des palourdes. Vous pouvez également acheter sur place facilement des fruits de mer frais à des prix relativement bas. Dans les environs, vous pouvez profiter de la vallée Mureung, nommée de la sorte parce que son paysage évoque un paysage chinois, le 'Mureungdowon'.

Non loin de là, vous pouvez visiter également le temple Geumgangsa qui a été construit en 1964.

Plage Hyanghohaebyeon (향호해변)

La plage Hyanghohaebyeon est une plage de sable blanc réputé pour sa forêt de pins et ses terrains de camping. La plage est reliée à la plage Jumunjinhaebyeon et est devenu un endroit touristique célèbre à Gangneung notamment suite au tournage de "Spring Day" du groupe BTS. L'arrêt de bus a été construit pour le clip mais est resté en tant que zone de photos.
