La route Gangneung Bau-gil est un parcours randonnée de 150 km qui prend son départ à Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, jusqu’à Gyeongpo et Jeongdongjin. Les 10 randonnées qui forment Bau-gil traversent mers et montagnes, offrant un paysage fabuleux à toute heure de la journée.
« Bau » signifie « roche » dans le dialecte de la province de Gangwon-do. Ce parcours est idéal pour les visiteurs qui apprécient les voyages à pied. Il est à noter que 70 % du trajet est composé de forêt de pins..

Circuit 5 :
Ce parcours de 16 km longe la côte maritime pour passer par les plages Sacheonjin-ri et Gyeongpo, le lake Gyeongpo, Heo Gyun ainsi que la plage Namhangjin. Les randonneurs peuvent collectionner les coquillages sur la plage, apprécier la vue sur le port et la nature du pays du matin calme.

Parc Provincial de Gyeongpo (경포도립공원)

Situé à environ 6 km au nord du centre-ville de Gangneung, le parc provincial de Gyeongpo est entouré par de magnifiques lieux naturels et culturels : Gyeongpodae, le lac Gyeongpo et le lac Geyongpo). Le lac Gyeongpo abrite en particulier des espèces animales rares comme des cygnes et des canards colverts.

Connu comme l'un des endroits les plus pittoresques de Gangwon-do, Gyeongpodae est un endroit fascinant pour admirer la première pleine lune, et le lac Gyeongpo pour les amateurs de pêche (désormais interdite pour préserver l’écosystème).
La plage de Gyeongpo est aussi l’une des plages les plus propres sur la côte Est. On trouve aussi le lac de Gyeongpo, Gyeongpodae, le pavillon de Banghae, le pavillon de Hohae, le pavillon de Gyeongho, et le temple de Gyeongyangsa. Les visiteurs peuvent aussi profiter des attractions toute l'année dont la floraison des cerisiers au printemps, la natation en été, la pêche, et la marche sur la plage en hiver. On trouve aussi des restaurants près du parc qui proposent des plats locaux dont des sashimi frais (y compris le fameux calamar sashimi), des ragoûts de poisson épicés et du tofu Chodang.

Chutes de Guryong (Sogeumgang) (구룡폭포 - 소금강)

Les chutes de Guryong (Sogeumgang) comprennent neuf chutes d’eau de différentes tailles qui s’etendent sur trois kilomètres sur la rivière Sogeumgang, Cheonghak-dong, parc national Odaesan. «Guryong» signifie neuf dragons et d'après la légende, chacune des chutes d'eau abritait un dragon. La sixième cascade « Gentleman's » est particulièrement magnifique.Deux kilomètres plus loin se trouve un rocher particulier appelé "Manmulsang". Son nom signifie littéralement "des dizaines de milliers d'apparences différentes". Certaines de ces apparences lui ont également valu les surnoms "Rocher Géant", "Rocher au Visage de Fantôme", "Iworam" et "Rocher Clandestin".
