Located in Deogyusan National Park in Muju, North Jeolla Province, Dasup Pension is the best place to experience the clear air and beautiful nature of Deogyusan Mountain. Its front is dominated by the Gucheondong Valley, while the back is surrounded by the changing faces of Deogyusan Mountain across the seasons. The warm reception of the owners makes the stay much more comfortable. There are a total of 20 rooms ranging from double to triple occupancy to 12-person pension rooms. Guests can choose between traditional Korean floor bedding rooms and bedrooms. All rooms are equipped with a TV, refrigerator, dressing table, hairdryer, and toiletries. Pension rooms allow for cooking within the unit, making it an ideal choice for family travelers. The wooden finish of the rooms is a unique attraction in the pension as well. Dasup Pension also contains a shared kitchen and an outdoor barbeque area for guests, and amenities, such as a ski shop and a soccer field, which make the pension a great place for group trips. Guests can rent skis, snowboards, and other equipment in the ski shop during the winter. There is also a shuttle bus to Muju Resort, one of the most well-known winter sports facilities in Korea. Other tourist sites in the region include Bandi Land and Muju Meoru Wine Cave, which are located 30 min away from the pension by car.

Le pavillon Hanpungnu est réputé pour avoir été fréquenté par des poètes renommés en Corée. Le pavilion fut incendié par l'armée japonaise en 1592 (25ème année de règne du roi Seonjo) puis reconstruit en 1599. Sous la période de la colonisation japonaise, le pavillon a servi de base notamment pour la propagation de la culture bouddhiste. Après la libération de la Corée, le pavillon fut déplacé vers Yangsan-myeon, Yeongdong-gun et fut rénommé 'Geumhoru'. En 1971, les réisdents de Muju déplacèrent le pavilion vers son emplacement actuel à Dangsan-ri, Muju-gun, région Jeollabuk-do. Hanpungnu est aujourd'hui l'un des pavillons les plus célèbres en Corée dans la région Sud-ouest, à l'instar du pavillon 'Hanbyeokdang' à Jeonju et 'Gwanghallu' à Namwon. Le pavillon est aussi réputé pour bénéficier de la plus belle des architectures des trois pavillons cités.

Muju Sun Flower Cottage Hostel is a family-friendly rental cottage located in the Muju Gucheon-dong Tourist District. Le mur de glace de Yeongdong est situé au centre du pays à Yongsan-meon (région de Chungcheongnam-do). Il a été inauguré en décembre 2006 avec deux parcours fait de glace. Il contient désormais 4 parcours de glace et une structure artificielle, faisant de cet endroit le plus grand site de glace artificial du pays. On compte ainsi près de 4000 amateurs d’escalades et environ 50 000 visiteurs qui se rendent chaque année sur les lieux.

Durant l'invasion de la Corée par le Japon en 1592, un bon nombre des archives nationales à Séoul et dans ses alentours furent brûlées. Suite à cela, les archives furent reproduites et classées dans plusieurs lieux à travers le pays. Le centre des archives nationales du mont Jeoksangsan a été fondé en 1614, lorsque les archives importantes du pays furent déplacées de l'académie confucéenne Myohyang avec d'autres ajoutées en 1641. Ce site a ainsi joué un rôle important dans la préservation des récits historiques de la Corée pendant près de 300 ans avant d'être fermé par le gouvernement japonais pendant la colonisation.
