춘천시 의암호의 새 명소로 주목 받고 있는 스카이워크. 자전거도로 중간지점에 위치한 경치 좋은 전망대이자 사진 찍기 좋은 장소다. 스카이워크는 수면에서 약 12m 높이에 동그란 모양으로 설치되어 있고, 바닥과 난간 등이 투명한 것이 특징이다. 그러다 보니 이곳을 걸을 때면 마치 하늘 위를 걷는 느낌과 동시에 금방이라도 물에 빠질 것 같은 아찔함을 느낄 수 있다.

Avec son parcours d'une longueur de 3,61 kilomètres, ce téléphérique qui traverse le lac Uiamho pour faire la jonction avec le mont Samaksan est le plus long parcours du genre en Corée. Il est ainsi devenu un nouveau grand point d'intérêt à Chuncheon.

Installé en novembre 1967, le barrage du lac de Uiamho est situé au point de rencontre des fleuves Bukhangang et Soyanggang. Il a été créé pour équilibrer le flux d’eau vers la rivière Hangang depuis Soyangho (le plus grand lac artificiel du pays) et le lac Paroho.

Le lac de Uiamho est une grande zone de pêche puisque le niveau de l’eau varie en fonction de la quantité d’eau déchargée depuis les lacs Soyangho et Paroho. A la différence des autres lacs créent à partir d’un barrage, il a un fond plat remplis de végétations, se développant autour et sous l’eau, faisant de ce lac un endroit idéal pour la pêche à la carpe. La carpe est la principale prise, du début du printemps jusqu’à la fin de l’automne ainsi qu’en hiver. En effet le lac est un bon endroit pour la pêche sur glace (principalement vairon et l'éperlan).

Les deux grandes îles sont Bungeoseom et Jungdo, situées au milieu du lac. Celui-ci n’est pas seulement un lieu de pêche, mais il offre également un magnifique spectacle naturel et il est facilement accessible depuis la ville de Chuncheon via les transports publics.

Located next to Uiamho Lake, KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon is a cultural space that combines “art” and “stay,” and Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Stay is a space pertaining to the latter. Housed in a remodeled former Gangwon Sports Hall building, it features a quirky exterior and tasteful interior design. Ivory-colored walls, white duck-down bedding, and brown furniture blend in seamlessly with orange or light green highlights. The management’s attentiveness is made evident in the temperature control in each room and the variety of bed arrangements for greater choice. The first floor of the building has a restaurant specializing in chicken dishes, and guests also have the choice of cooking their own food in the communal kitchen equipped with an induction stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, and cooking utensils. There are even music practice and performance rooms for artists. The surrounding area exemplifies the beauty of Chuncheon’s lakeside nature, best explored with bicycles.
