Peu après son ouverture en 1983, la Galerie Park Ryu Soo fut déplacée à Cheongdam-dong, un territoire inexploré en 1988. Depuis, la galerie a joué un rôle significatif dans le développement de la zone en l’un des endroits artistiques les plus représentatifs du pays.
