Sushi Kaisin is a luxurious sushi restaruant owned by Japanese Chef Kyousuke Sato. Chef Sato gained much knowledge about seafood through his working experience at fisheries market and two years of experience as a fisher. After building his career as a chef by working at top-notch sushi restaurants and five-star hotels in Japan, Chef Sato opened his very own sushi restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul in 2017. Fresh ingredients carefully selected and brought in from Jeju Island are prepared into an authentic Edomae sushi through Chef Sato's unique techniques. Although the restaurant is small, allowing up to only six customers at the counter table, Chef Sato ensures that the excellent food and service quality remain consistent as the chef personally tends to every aspect of the restaurant, from selection of ingredients and food preparation to customer service. Chef Sato is able to provide menu explanations and engage in friendly conversations with customers in fluent Japanese, Korean, and English due to his broad experience and expertise from traveling and working over the past years. L’usine de traitement des eaux de Ttukdo est composée du musée de l’usine et du bassin du filtre à sable. Celle-ci est le fruit du travail de deux Américains, Collbran et Bostwick, qui ont obtenu un brevet du gouvernement coréen pour une installation de traitement des eaux en décembre 1903, ont débuté les travaux en août 1906 et les ont terminé en août 1908. C’est le tout premier bassin hydrographique de Corée, et il est composé en partie de pièces américaines et anglaises.

Lorsqu’elle a été achevée, l’installation pouvait traiter 12 500 tonnes d’eau en une journée, et approvisionner quelque 165 000 habitants de Séoul. Le taux de purification était à l’époque de 32%. Le réservoir d’alimentation en eau mesure 312,4 m², et possède des murs de brique, un toit de tuile et une porte d’entrée de granite en forme d’arche, qui représentent un parfait exemple d’architecture moderne. L’usine de traitement des eaux, reconvertie en musée, ainsi que le bassin de filtragage par le sable, ont été enregistrés comme Trésor culturel n° 72 par la ville de Séoul.

Actuellement, il y a 4.3 millions de livres or chaque année deux cent vingt milles nouveaux livres et thèses sont comptabilisés. Les visiteurs peuvent consulter les livres ou autres. Au 1er étage se situe une salle d’exposition où quelques mini-évènements ont lieu de temps à autre. Le parc de Seocho étant non loin, vous aurez une belle vue et pourrez apprécier la sereine et calme atmophère qui s’en dégage. Si vous souhaitez faire du shopping, vous pouvez aller vers le terminus des bus express. Vous y verrez un centre commercial avec de nombreuses boutiques et un théâtre aussi y est relié. De ce terminus, vous pouvez aller voyager vers différentes régions. Mais il serait fort heureux d’aller d’abord faire un tour à la bibliothèque et d’y passer du temps à feuilleter quelques livres avant de partir faire une virée!

A la bibliothèque nationale, il y a aussi des concerts classiques dernier vendredi de chaque mois pour les visiteurs, sauf pour le mois de janvier et d’août. Chacun y est convié gratuitement. L’orchestre philharmonique de Euro-Asie et son fameux chef d’orchestre Geum Nan-Sae s’y produit. Ce dernier donne aussi des explications sur les morceaux interprétés. Ainsi, profitez donc de cette opportunité d’assister à un magnifique concert gracieusement et dans un cadre tout à fait relaxant.
