This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located in Seochon Village near Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is a modern C-shaped hanok centered around the inner courtyard, which is the first thing that the guests see after entering through the gate. While it is not expansive, white pebbles and a foot bath make this hanok a unique one. One can enjoy a foot bath while sitting on the porch.
The bedroom, which is located beyond the living room, is furnished with a queen-sized bed. Opening the screen doors brings one to the view of the kitchen area beyond the inner courtyard. A large table, plush sofa, and a small bookcase make the space ideal for books and discussions. Climbing the wooden ladder to the side of the kitchen brings one to the attic, which also doubles as a Korean-style room with a skylight. Kim Gwangbun’s Pulhyanggi Sonkalguksu boasts a taste made from 16 years of tradition in serving kal-guksu (handmade noodle soup). The menu includes haemul-kal-guksu (noodle soup with various seafood) and bajirak-kal-guksu (noodle soup with clams). One of its hidden secrets to attract people is the meat broth boiled for four to seven hours. Also, the wang-mandu (big sized dumplings) and kimchi are special points at this restaurant. To keep the best freshness, the owner, Kim Gwangbun goes to the fishery market in person to select the ingredients for the day's meals at dawn. The restaurant is comprised of one main two-story building as well as an additional building.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located deep in the Seochon Village, west of Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace. Its tasteful renovation of a small 33 m2 hanok made it highly popular among the younger guests. The courtyard has a low maple tree and tastefully arranged stones, while the hanok is capable of accommodating up to 2 persons.
This L-shaped hanok has a full window wall facing the living room, which is furnished with a low walnut table and a bathtub. Visitors can enjoy premium tea at the table. The bathtub, which is connected to the table at one end, can be used mainly for a foot bath with bath salts that assist circulation. There is also a restroom in the building.
Nuwa’s bedroom has a circular window, much like the full moon, with a view of the garden and the fringes of the Inwangsan Mountain.

La place, située en face de l'Hôtel de ville et dénommée 'Seoul Plaza', a été inaugurée en 2004. La place Seoul Plaza accueille de nombreux événements culturels durant l'année incluant des concerts ou encore des expositions. La place se transforme également en patinoire en extérieur durant l'hiver pour devenir l'une des principales attractions de la saison à Séoul.

Le lieu propose ainsi une patinoire pour les débutants, et une patinoire pour les patineurs confirmés tout en proposant diverses activités parallèles. Vous trouverez aussi un lieu de prêt de matériel, une zone de repos, etc.

Les patineurs sont tenus de porter des gants alors que la place offre également des programmes d'entraînement pour ceux qui souhaiteraient s'initier ou en apprendre davantage sur les techniques de patinage. Pour apprendre à patiner, il convient de s'inscrire à l'avance pour des leçons sur le site de l'opération.

Projet de circuit artistique et culturel de Séoul (서울문화예술탐방)

Lancé en 2007, le projet de circuit artistique et culturel de Séoul est un programme d’expérience culturelle organisé par la Fondation de Séoul pour les arts et la culture. Les circuits ont lieu du jeudi au samedi, les deuxième et quatrième samedis du mois d’avril à octobre.

Les participants se réunissent sur la place en face de l’hôtel de ville de Séoul vers 10h30 pour prendre le bus affrété par la Fondation de Séoul pour les arts et la culture. Le programme offre diverses excursions sur des thèmes variés : art, théâtre, littérature, architecture et design. En semaine, de nombreuses femmes au foyer s’inscrivent au programme pour profiter un peu de leur temps libre alors que leurs enfants sont à l’école. Pendant les week-ends, c’est l’occasions parfaite pour les familles, les couples et les touristes internationaux de visiter Séoul. Ce programme gratuit permet ainsi aux participants de visiter quelques endroits de Séoul et de découvrir ce qui fait que ces lieux sont les fleurons de la capitale.
