Situé à Ongnyeon-dong, Yeonsu-Gu dans la ville d’Incheon, le mémorial de l’opération terrestre est un mémorial de guerre érigé pour la commémoration du centième anniversaire de l’ouverture du pont d’Incheon en 1984.
Son thème central se rapporte à l’opération terrestre menée par le général Mc Arthur pendant la guerre de Corée.
A l’intérieur du bâtiment se trouvent exposées des photographies de l’armement militaire utilisé par les militaires coréens du Sud et du Nord et d’autres de la vie de l’époque.
A l’extérieur il y a une tour mémoriale de 18m de haut ainsi que les drapeaux nationaux de 16 pays ayant participé à la guerre de Corée.
Juste à côté du mémorial se trouve le musée de la ville d’Incheon où les visiteurs peuvent observer l’histoire d’Incheon.

Gyeongbokgung (경복궁불고기)

Temple Heungryunsa (Incheon) (흥륜사 - 인천)

Le temple de Heungryunsa, situé à Dongchun-dong, Yeonsu-gu à Incheon, a été bâti il y a environ 613 ans, durant la seconde année du règne du roi Wu de la dynastie Goryeo, par le précepteur Naong, un moine royal du roi Gongmin. A l’origine, le temple s’appelait « Cheongnyangsa » et la montagne non loin était nommée « Cheongnyangsan ».
Malheureusement, le temple a été détruit par un incendie durant l’invation japonaise de la Corée en 1592 et il est resté à l’état de ruine durant 340 ans. En 1938, un nouveau temple a été construit, mais il a été détruit en 1966 pour être rebâti sous la forme de huit bâtiments. En 1977, il a reçu son nom actuel de « Heungryunsa ».

Le temple de Heungryunsa se trouve à côté de la station de vacances de Songo et de la ville internationale de Songo. Le parc commémoratif du débarquement d’Incheon se trouve juste à côté de l’entrée du temple.

Même si la vue depuis le temple vaut le coup à n’importe quel moment de la journée, elle est particulièrement belle au crépuscule. Les personnes souhaitant observer la vie du temple un peu plus longtemps sont encouragées à s’inscrire pour le programme de séjour au temple de Heungryusa, qui permet aux visiteurs de découvrir le bouddhisme coréen.

Le temple possède également un centre de méditation et un Manbuljeon où sont conservés des milliers de Bouddhas. Un centre commémoratif high-tech est ouvert aux visiteurs qui souhaitent rendre hommage à leurs ancêtres.
