Autel Chamseong (강화 참성단)

Au somment de la montagne Mani se trouve l’autel Chamseong, où Dangun, le fondateur de Gojoseon (2333 avant Jésus-Christ), célébrait le culte de son ancêtre, le ciel. Etant donné que la prière était déjà pratiquée en 54 de l’ère de Dangun (2279 avant Jésus-Christ), ce monument historique daterait de 4000 ans. Il fut restauré en 1270, durant la 11ème année du règne du roi Wonjong de Goryeo. Après avoir subi quelques rénovations, l’autel apparaît sous sa forme actuelle. Fait de pierre naturelle, sa hauteur est de plus de 5 mètres. Il comporte une base circulaire de 8,7 mètres de diamètre et une partie carrée surélevée de 6,6 mètres de longueur. Situé à mi-chemin entre les montagnes, Baekdu et Halla, il offre une vue panoramique sur les îles de la mer ouest et les terres intérieures. Les rois de Goguryeo, de Baekje et de Silla y auraient célébré le culte du ciel. Ce rituel a perduré pendant la dynastie Joseon (1392-1910), ce qui souligne l’admiration et le respect des ancêtres coréens pour le ciel. Des cérémonies en l’honneur de Dangun se pratiquent chaque année, le Jour de la fondation (le 3 octobre). La flamme du festival national des sports est allumée et commence son trajet à partir de l’autel.
Manisan est la montagne la plus haute de Gangwhado (496,4m). Ses alentours furent déclarés site populaire touristique en 1977. Du sommet, on peut voir l’ensemble de la région Gyeonggi. Le chemin d’accès à l’autel offre une vue panoramique sur la mer et les montagnes ce qui en fait un des chemins de randonnée les plus appréciés.

Mt. Manisan (마니산 - 강화)

Le Mt. Manisan, qui culmine à 496,4 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, est la plus haute montagne sur l’Ile Ganghwado. Il a été désigné comme site national préservé en 1977. Si vous grimpez jusqu’au sommet, vous pouvez apercevoir l’environnement de la province du Gyeonggi-do et la mer de l’Ouest.

Au mont Manisan, vous trouverez le temple Jeongsusa daté de la période Goryeo ainsi que Chamseongdan au sommet de la montagne. Le temple Jeongsusa se trouve sur le flanc est de la montagne, en vous assayant à Daeungjeon, vous pourrez admirer la vue magnifique du lever de soleil. Près du temple, vous pouvez profiter d'une dense forêt. Chamseongdan se trouve sur le flanc ouest du sommet de la montagne, il est connu pour la beauté de ses environs. On suppose aussi que les rois des dynasties Goguryeo, Baekje, et Silla se sont rendus sur place pour offrir des sacrifices aux cieux.

Il existe deux chemins vers le Mt. Manisan, le chemin Yangbangil et le chemin des escaliers. Le chemin Yangbangil a une inclinaison idéale pour une effectuer montée agréable. Le chemin des escaliers est très raide, mais une fois que vous êtes au sommet, vous serez impressionner par la vue de la montagne et de la mer.

Luge Ganghwa (Ganghwa Seaside Resort) (강화루지(강화씨사이드리조트))
