Museo Geológico (지질박물관)

El Museo Geológico, localizado en Yuseong-gu de Daejeon, es el primer museo nacional dedicado a la geología. El museo (2001) cuenta con un diseño arquitectónico inspirado en la coraza de un Stegosaurus y se divide en una sala principal, 2 salas de exposiciones, una sala de muestras, un área de exhibiciones exterior y una sala de exhibiciones especial. La sala principal del museo está dedicada a dinosaurios y se encuentra llena de fósiles y otros objetos relacionados con ellos. La sala de exhibiciones 1 se divide en tres temáticas (la madre tierra, fósiles y evolución, y excavaciones geológicas) mientras que la sala 2 tiene en exhibición varios minerales, rocas y meteoritos. Operado con el objetivo de promover al público un mayor entendimiento y soporte en el campo de la geología, el museo ofrece vídeos y películas relacionadas con la geología, lecturas y varias actividades. Además, hay un centro de de especímenes geológicos donde se conservan muestras para uso de los investigadores.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) accommodation is located in Taesan-ri, Janggun-myeon, Sejong Special Self-governing City. Its doors open to an expansive and handsome grass courtyard, with stone fences, a pond, a pavilion, stone figures, pine trees, and a furnace with a cast-iron pot.
The entire house with a courtyard is rented out in whole, with three rooms, a kitchen, a living room, and two bathrooms. There are a beam projector and a karaoke machine in the house, which makes it popular for family gatherings, corporate training sessions, or club meetings. The house has also been used for traditional marriage ceremonies and outdoor exhibitions. An outdoor barbecue area allows the guests to do some outdoor grilling, but guests can also opt to use the furnace and the traditional cast-iron pot for grilling as well. Se dice que un día vio a una grulla sumergiendo su ala herida en el charco de la nieve derretida y al sacarla, estaba curada. Después de ver esto, la madre hizo lo mismo con la parte herida de su hijo, y esta se curó definitivamente.
