Seoulland es el primer parque temático de Corea y el monte Cheonggyesan que lo rodea tiene una belleza particular. En Seoulland están la Plaza del Mundo, donde se exponen obras de arquitectura tradicional y piezas folclóricas de todo el mundo; el Jardín Samcheonni, donde se puso énfasis en el disfrutar de los objetos tradicionales coreanos; el País Modelo, que recuerda el período de la conquista del oeste norteamericano; y el País de las Maravillas. En total hay cinco parques temáticos que componen Seoulland. En cuanto a juegos de recorrido están el Crucero Espacial, el Hoyo Negro 2000, el Tren de la Galaxia, las Corrientes Rápidas, la Alfombra Mágica, entre un total de 40 juegos, y también dispone de espectáculos en el Teatro de Aventuras, Salas de Cine, el País de los Cuentos, entre otros.

El orgullo de Seoulland es la variedad de festivales según las estaciones que organiza y el espectáculo nocturno de rayos láser. Seoulland, levantada sobre una gran extensión de tierra, alberga varios festivales en cada estación del año. De abril a mayo, el Festival de los Tulipanes; de julio a agosto, el Festival de las Rosas Estelares; de septiembre a octubre, el Festival de los Crisantemos; y de diciembre a febrero, el Festival de las Luces sobre Nieve.

Puesto que el Parque de Diversiones Seoulland tiene cerca al Gran Parque de Seúl, el Bosque de Relajación del Monte Cheonggyesan, el Museo Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo y otras excelentes atracciones turísticas, es hoy en día uno de los destinos más populares para el descanso.

Plaza de Seúl (서울광장)

Fundado en 1926, el antiguo edificio del Ayuntamiento de Seúl es de piedra, de estilo renacentista. La plaza delante del Ayuntamiento es un sitio histórico donde se realizaron el Movimiento de Independencia de 1919 (Samil) y el movimiento de pro-democracia en junio de 1987. Es también un lugar conocido porque, durante la Copa Mundial de Fútbol de 2002, decenas de miles de admiradores del seleccionado nacional se congregaron para aclamarlo. Esta plaza de hierba oval delante del Ayuntamiento de Seúl, reestablecida en 2004, es usada como un lugar para sostener varios acontecimientos y festivales culturales, y es para el disfrute por muchos seulitas. Jinju Hall is a restaurant specializing in kongguksu (chilled white soybean noodle soup) with over 40 years of history. Renowned for its rich soup of cold noodles, the restaurant uses fresh soybeans grown in Gangwon-do. The dishes are not only nutritious, but also effective in restoring people's appetites, often lost because of the summer's heat.

To make the restaurant's signature dish, buckwheat is mixed with ground soybeans and flour to make dough. The dough is shaped into noodles and boiled. They are then mixed with pulverized soybeans (which are slightly boiled) and cold broth. Boasting a simple taste, this cold soybean noodle dish is one of the most popular dishes in summer.

Located in Gyeongun-dong, Jongno-gu at the very heart of Seoul, Sieunjae is a hanok with a longstanding tradition. It has three guestrooms including the anbang (main room), byeolchae (detached building), and jakeunbang (small room). The anbang is the only room with a living room, where various items of old furniture, including a comfortable sofa, create an antique atmosphere. The communal bathroom and toilets are supplied with toiletries, while the communal kitchen is equipped with cooking equipment and a washing machine. The house can be rented either as individual accommodations or in its entirety. As it is situated in Jongno-gu, at the very heart of Seoul, guests can easily reach many nearby major tourist attractions. Car users are advised to use the public parking lot as the house has no parking spaces. Entering by a small gate, the little flowerbed comes into sight. This old hanok shows traces of repair works on the tiled roof.
