Vanastha, located in the forest inside Daeam Dam in Ulju-gun, is a forest yoga house that means "stay in the forest." For modern people who lack time to look back on their bodies in their tired daily lives, it provides time to fully focus on themselves with proper breathing, meditation, and Hatha yoga. Here, one can hear the sounds of nature, feel nature, and experience of becoming one with nature and the universe, only in nature. It offers a one-day class and a yoga meditation program on Saturday mornings. Private session option is available for a group of four or more people with a reservation in advance.

Baenaegol Valley (배내골)

Baenaegol Valley is located at the heart of the mountainous region affectionately known as the Yeongnam Alps. The valley derives its name “Baenaegol,” meaning “the valley of pears,” from the wild pear trees that grow in large numbers along the valley.

The valley covers nearly 8 kilometers of land between the range connecting Sinbulsan Mountain and Yeongchuksan Mountain and the western range connecting Cheonhwangsan Mountain and Jaeyaksan Mountain in Miryang. It is a popular vacation destination in the summer. Also, many tourists come to drink the water containing acer mono sap, which is known to be produced in this region during the springtime.

Baenaegol Valley is just a short distance away from downtown Yangsan. The valley provides an opportunity to enjoy nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The long valley is wedged between highlands, which results in at least two hours less of sunshine than other regions, so it feels cooler in the summer months. Strawberries are also widely grown in the area.

Pyochungsa Temple is located at the base of Jaeyaksan Mountain, 20 kilometers east of Miryang. The temple was originally founded by Monk Wonhyo in the 1st year of King Muyeol in Silla period under the name Junnimgsa Temple, then expanded and renamed by a monk from India in the fourth year of King Heungdeok’s reign of the Silla period. Nearby attractions include Cheungcheungpokpo Falls, Geumgangpokpo Falls, and Eoreumgol Ice Valley, as well as Sajapyeong Plain at the ridge of the mountain.

Just north of Jaeyaksan Mountain, Eoreumgol Valley (Ice Valley) sits at an elevation between 600 and 750 meters and covers an area of 29,752m². Designated as Natural Monument No. 224, the valley is unusual in that it begins to freeze in March when the weather becomes warm and thaws in the fall when the weather becomes cold. In the winter, the valley generates warm breezes and the water rarely freezes. Because of these unique attributes, the valley is considered one of the Four Mysteries in Miryang and attracts visitors from early summer through fall.

Dodong Sanbang is a restaurant with five separate traditional Korean buildings situated on a large plot of land. It serves great traditional Korean set meals, and has a separate tea room where customers can enjoy a cup of tea after dining. Excluding winter, the restaurant offers a special program called “tteok mechigi” (rice cake pounding) where customers are invited to pound (or make) a rice cake with a mallet and eat it. The restaurant also includes a traditional souvenir shop and rice cake shop, and offers cultural programs.

Juklim Sanbang is a Korean restaurant located near the entrance of Hongnyongsa Temple in Yangsan. They focus on health-conscious cooking, incorporating medicinal herbs and herbal-infused water in all their dishes. The restaurant's standout offering is the Juklim jeongsik (Juklim set menu), a comprehensive meal featuring a variety of items, including salad and grilled fish. To stimulate the appetite before the main menu, sansam (wild ginseng) and doraji jeonggwa (braised bellflower root in sweet sauce) are served. For a delightful conclusion, sungnyung (scorched rice soup) is offered as dessert.
