Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do contains a variety of cultural heritages and artifacts that were collected from the region before it was flooded in 1985 during the construction of Chungju Dam. Cheongpung Cable Car (청풍호반케이블카)

Cheongpung Cable Car takes passengers back and forth between Multae-ri in Cheongpung-myeon and Bibongsan Mountain along a 2.3-kilometer ropeway. There are a total of 43 cabins that accommodate up to 10 passengers per car, which among ten have transparent flooring to offer a thrilling bird's-eye-view of Cheongpung-myeon. The cable car has a speed of 5 m/s and takes around 10 minutes from the departure point to Bibongsan Mountain peak, and can accommodate up to 15,000 passengers per day. Bibongsan Mountain sits at the center of Cheongpungho Lake and has an elevation of 531 meters. The sight from top offers a feeling as if one is looking down at an archipelago. The cable car allows children and the elderly to enjoy the sight without the hassle of hiking up to the summit.

Located on a ridge of Sinseonbong Peak (845 meters) nearby Geumsusan Mountain, Jeongbangsa Temple was founded by Buddhist Monk Uisang in the second year (662) of King Munmu’s reign during the Silla dynasty. Jeongbangsa Temple is a branch of Beopjusa Temple located on Songnisan Mountain and is a well known oratory amongst Buddhists. The temple offers fantastic views of Cheongpungho Lake that are said to calm and clear the mind. A unique feature of this temple is the mountain wall making up a portion of the temple roof.

The Cheongpungho Scenic Monorail offers a unique journey along a three-kilometer track from Dogok-ri in Cheongpung-myeon, Jecheon, to Bibongsan Mountain, situated at 531 meters above sea level. Typically, reaching the summit of Bibongsan Mountain on foot from Dogok-ri takes about an hour. However, the monorail service significantly reduces this time by half. Woodblock Printing Museum (고판화박물관)

Opened in 2004, it is the only museum in Korea that specializes in and exhibits old woodblock printings from all around the world. Woodblock Printing Museum collects, stores, exhibits, researches and educates on ancient woodblock materials from many different Asian countries where engravings and woodcuts flourished including Korea, China, Japan, Tibet, Mongolia, India and Nepal. It currently stores over 3,500 individual relics including some 1,800 original woodblocks, 300 old woodblock works engraved as woodcuts, 200 books engraved on woodblocks, and 200 materials related to woodcuts. There is also a permanent woodblock experience hall, which is often utilized as a place to experience and educate those on site who are not satisfied with just seeing the works.
