Located next to Uiamho Lake, KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon is a cultural space that combines “art” and “stay,” and Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Stay is a space pertaining to the latter. Housed in a remodeled former Gangwon Sports Hall building, it features a quirky exterior and tasteful interior design. Ivory-colored walls, white duck-down bedding, and brown furniture blend in seamlessly with orange or light green highlights. The management’s attentiveness is made evident in the temperature control in each room and the variety of bed arrangements for greater choice. The first floor of the building has a restaurant specializing in chicken dishes, and guests also have the choice of cooking their own food in the communal kitchen equipped with an induction stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, and cooking utensils. Namchuncheon Station is located on the Seoul Subway Gyeongchun Line in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. The station is also called Gangwondae, as Kangwon National University - Chuncheon Campus is nearby. Chuncheon Station, Gyeongchun Line's original final stop, was temporarily closed in October of 2005 for double-track electrification construction. During this time, Namchuncheon Station was used as the final stop.

This Soyanggang Maiden Statue stands high between Soyanggang Skywalk and Soyang i(2)gyo Bridge. This statue, representing Korea’s popular song Soyanggang Cheonyeo (maiden), is 12 m high in total, combining 5 m-high base stone and 7 m-high body. If you see it close to, the statue looks very big. The statue depicts a maiden who holds her skirt hem with one hand and reed with the other, and her breast-knot flapping in the wind. The base stone has the inscription of lyrics. The lyrics belong to the song Soyanggang Cheonyeo composed by Ban Ya-wol, who left hit songs, such as Crossing the Teary Pass of Bakdaljae, and Brokenhearted Miari Ridge.

Soyanggang Skywalk (소양강스카이워크)

The Soyanggang Skywalk, extending over the river, spans 174 meters in length, with a transparent glass floor covering 156 meters of its section. At the end of the skywalk, visitors will find a circular plaza and an observatory, renowned for their panoramic views, especially of the sunsets. Additionally, the Ssogarisang sculpture, depicting a leopard mandarin fish, stands on the opposite side of the plaza, drawing in visitors. Water from a fountain flows from this sculpture at fixed intervals, adding to the allure.

Daewondang, a bakery established in 1968, is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Chuncheon. The spacious store showcases a wide variety of breads.
