Samaksan Mountain in Chuncheon is known for many waterfalls in different sizes along the gorge, and especially Deungseon Falls is the best known to tourists. By entering the hiking trail of the falls, you will encounter a narrow and deep gorge. Formed through quartzitic jointing, the gorge has a mysterious atmosphere with its strange rocks and bizarre stones, which look sharp and precipitous. As the gorge and falls keep their cool temperature, the area is a popular summer resort. Deungseon Falls is one of the Eight Sights of Deungseon, along with Seunghak Falls, Baengnyeon Falls, and Biryong Falls. The quickest way to get to Deungseon Falls starts from the Deungseon Falls Ticket Booth, which is close to Gangchon.

Petite France is a French cultural village set in the Korean countryside. Designed with the theme concept, "flowers, stars, and the Little Prince," the village offers experience programs, training facilities, and accommodations. Additional attractions within the village include a memorial hall dedicated to Saint-Exupery, the author of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince (1943); Orgel House where a 200-year-old music box plays a sweet melody; a French housing exhibition; a gallery displaying sculptures and paintings of le coq gaulois (the Gallic rooster), the national symbol of France; and many other galleries and shops to experience French culture. The training facility can accommodate up to 200 visitors in rooms that hold four to ten people each.

It is a theme park that introduces Italian culture under the themes of 'Pinocchio' and Leonardo da Vinci, the representative Italian fairy tales. The Italian scenes in the drama were actually filmed in Italy and at this location. The Italian village is delicately reproduced to the extent that it is difficult to tell if it is not known. The 10.8 m high statue of Pinocchio standing at the entrance is a photo point. If you go up to the observatory, you can see the back of the statue and the lake in the distance.

It operates water sledding hills during summer and ice sledding hills during winter to give a fun experience to children. Spanning the area of 9,780㎡, it is comprised of varied slopes, moving walkways, snack bar, restaurant, resting area, changing room, shower facility, outdoor swimming pool for children and adults, shaded shelter and other subsidiary facilities. It is the sole leisure experience area for families located in the metropolitan area.

Jojongcheongyegok Valley, known as the second-largest stream in Gapyeong, is a prime destination for water activities due to its wide expanse and plentiful water flow. Along the Jojongcheon Stream, within the mountain lodge tourist area, there are various accommodation options available. These include rental cottages, caravans, and auto campgrounds, offering convenient and diverse lodging choices for visitors looking to stay in the area.

Cheongpyeong Lake (청평호반)

Cheongpyeong Lake is an artificial lake that was formed with the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in the Bukhangang River. Surrounding mountains and lake landscapes blend together harmoniously creating breathtaking views and is fast becoming a choice destination in Korea.

Near Cheongpyeong Lake there is an amusement park as well as numerous summer homes. On the nearby lake, one can enjoy water skiing and a host of other recreations. In addition, accommodation is also available making this destination a famous vacation spot all-year-round. Around Cheongpyeong Lake, there are a total of 30 boating areas for water skiing, motor boats, jet skis, banana boats, and various other water activities. All instrument rentals and lessons are also available.

Ssunil Garden is a restaurant known for its traditional Korean hand-made set menu, offering an array of side dishes along with freshly grown ssamchaeso (vegetables for wraps). The menu features yuginong ssambap (organic leaf wraps and rice), which is perfectly paired with the spicy and savory jeyukbokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork). Additionally, the set menu includes jat dubu (pine nut bean curd), saengseon gui (grilled fish), soup, and gamasot bap (rice cooked in cast-iron pot). Their yangnyeom gejang (spicy marinated crab) and ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated crab) are highly recommended. Due to its early opening hours, the restaurant also serves breakfast.
