Located at the foot of Unaksan Mountain in Gapyeong, Premium Kids Pool Villa is a pension that offers a range of services tailored for families with children. The guest rooms are full equipped with baby bottle sterilizers, high chairs for kids, kids tableware sets, and kids bath supplies. Located in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, this picturesque valley takes its source from the 900-meter high Kalbongsan Mountain, winding around Ongnyeobong Peak. Stretching over 24 km, it is home to nine remarkable sights, earning it the nicknames "Nine Okgye Valleys" and "Nine Yongchu Valleys." Blanketed by pine nut forests, the valley’s clear waters flow past rocky walls and ridges, forming natural pools along its course. A notable highlight is the 5-meter tall Yongchupokpo Falls about 6 kilometers upstream, accompanied by a legend of a dragon’s ascent to heaven; a deep groove in the adjacent sloping rock is believed to be the dragon’s resting spot. Flanked by Yumyeongsan, Jungmisan, and Eobisan Mountains, the valley offers an excellent short hiking route for a half-day excursion.

Yangpyeong Paragliding Park is a place where one can fly freely in the sky at 862 m, the highest altitude available in Korea, and take a walk in the clouds. Tandem flights are available for two people as a group with a pilot, so anyone can enjoy a two-seat tandem flight safely. Visitors can choose from several courses, including a relaxing course flying without taking any photos, a couple course where two gliders fly close together, and a special course to learn how to pilot oneself. Aside from the relaxing course, all courses can take videos and photos, making it great for making memories. The duration is about 10 to 25 minutes. The park may be closed due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, so please check in advance before visiting.

Jade Garden is an exotic arboretum established with the theme of “small Europe in the forest.” It was built on an area of 163,500 m2 by keeping its natural topography and establishing 24 themed gardens. This European-style arboretum comprises Italy’s Tuscan-style Visitor Center at the entrance, English Border Garden, and Italian Wedding Garden built with Italian style of garden and waterway. It also has three walking paths -Namunaeum-gil, Danpungnamu-gil, Supsokbaram-gil. Namunaeum-gil in the middle of the arboretum is paved with woodchips and has good accessibility to the theme gardens. Danpungnamu-gil located at a high ground is a quiet trail, while Supsokbaram-gil is surrounded by thick trees and an ideal walking path in the summer season. Each walking path requires 40 to 60 min each way, and they are connected in the middle of the trails. Each path begins from the Visitor Center and ends at the White Garden or Sky Garden at the top of the arboretum. Visitors can take a rest at a cafe, restaurant, and souvenir shop. The nighttime operation is available depending on the season, and the shuttle bus runs between Gulbongsan Station of the Gyeongchun Line and the Arboretum.

Sujongsa Temple (수종사)

Sujongsa Temple is a branch temple of Bongseonsa Temple, located near the top of Ungilsan Mountain. Amazing views from Sujongsa Temple include various mountaintops and the Bukhangang River. While records are not entirely clear, it is believed that the temple was built in 1439 during the Joseon period. The temple went through many reconstructions and expansions, but ultimately was entirely destroyed during the Korean War. In 1975, Monk Hyegwang began reconstructing the temple, starting with Daeungbojeon Hall and slowly expanded the temple site subsequently.
