The Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) is definitely the place to be if you are interested in space. The institute is not a simple promotion center; it is where actual research is done. KARI has led the launching of Naro, Korea's first rocket. In addition, a diverse range of events are available such as, Saturday aerospace class, aerospace camp, vision camp for college students and so on.
In the Satellite Test Building, visitors can see and listen to explanations about a satellite that is currently being researched and tested. They can tour key aerospace facilities such as the Launch Environment Lab, Orbit Environment Lab and Satellite Assembly Lab.
* With the successful launch of rocket Naro, Korea became the 11th country to join the Space Club (a group of countries that have the technologies to launch a space rocket).

Hwanghae Myeonok is a Pyeongyang naengmyeon (Pyeongyang cold buckwheat noodles) specialty restaurant in Daejeon. Its signature dish is the mullaengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), known for its tangy umami taste, achieved by mixing meat broth with dongchimi (radish water kimchi) soup. Adding sogogi kimchi bibim (spicy beef and kimchi) to the mullaengmyeon allows diners to enjoy a spicy flavor as well. Being an established restaurant, it has many regular customers and is also a popular spot among local office workers.

Imjingang Jangeo specializes in charcoal-grilled eels, with the highlight being hanbang jangeo sogeum gui (grilled salted eel with medicinal herbs). This dish features thick, large eels expertly grilled over charcoal and accompanied by soy sauce. It's presented with vegetables for wraps and a variety of side dishes including salad, chopped ginger, garlic, crispy deep-fried eel bones, and kimchi. Another popular dish is the spicy and sweet gochujang yangnyeom gui (grilled red chili paste marinated eel), which pairs excellently with janchi guksu (banquet noodles) served in a light, savory broth.
